After trying various methods, none of which worked, I found a YouTube video which demonstrated the use of these tools for removing similarly threaded screws.Most of the Amazon reviews of this product seemed positive, but there were some which stated they did not work, so I was in two minds as to whether these would actually help. Eventually I decided to give these a try and purchased the tools in the hope I would not need to break the laptop in order to fit the new drive.Unfortunately there are no instructions provided with the tools, although there is a reference to instructions on the Moodys site which was not available when I checked. Therefore I used the tools as suggested in the YouTube video, starting with the smallest and working up through the sizes, none of which appeared to make any progress. After considerable effort with no progress, I was about to give up, however I tried one last time and to my surprise the screw turned and I was able to remove it.The process I used which eventually worked was to apply pressure and twist the tool back and forth in the screw head until it gets a grip and manages to turn the screw. You might need to do this for a long time, depending on how tightly the screw has been fitted and how long it takes for the tool to dig into the metal and obtain a grip.As to the tools themselves, they appear to be of a good strong quality that are just the right size for the job. They arrived quite quickly and in my opinion are well worth the purchase.
