I really wanted to love these .Great idea but poor execution. First - i ordered cloth - the material is listed as cloth , the box says cloth but its vinyl stamped to look like cloth -maybe. Second - the drivers side was obviously installed - there was some damage on the bottom side where it was installed (improperly i would guess). Third - i assuming the failed install is related to the removable safe part being misshaped and would not lock - i had to bend some internal metal with my hands and was able to make it lock - Forth - they advertise that it will fit a 1911 - i find it hard to believe - I had a difficult time getting my MP 2.0 45 compact in there because of the way the locking mechanism works it really reduced the vertical clearance of the opening. My 43X with optic might have a problem . with all that said I could live with it if there were not so darn ugly - and they are really big.
