We recently bought a washer and dryer set for our laundry closet and needed a stacking kit to save space. I was a little unsure at first because our washer and dryer are smaller, not full-size units, but this kit has been working great! It came with everything we needed to safely and securely stack the units, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The brackets feel strong and well-made—no wobbling or shifting at all, even during high-speed spins. It gave us peace of mind knowing everything was locked in place properly. The added height actually made loading and unloading the dryer a bit more comfortable, too. It’s a small purchase that made a big difference in our setup. I am delighted with my decision to invest in the Stacking Kit for my washer and dryer. This ingenious kit has not only saved space in my laundry area but also added a level of convenience to my daily chores. The installation process was straightforward, and the kit securely fastened my dryer on top of the washer, creating a vertical space-saving solution. This is especially valuable in smaller laundry rooms where maximizing space is essential. My washer and dryer are different brands and this works perfectly to stack them. It's very easy to set up and only took about 5 minutes. Hardest part is lifting the dryer up on top of the washer. The size is adjustable, but if you don't have a matched set like my case they should be pretty close to the same width (depth is less important) - probably no more than 0.5-1" difference. Luckily I think most are sized pretty close. I've been using this for about a month and it seems to be pretty durable and stable. Overall a good value.

This product works as intended. As others have mentioned, it looks a little "janky" but does the trick. My comment is that the ratchet strap is the length needed for full sized machines. If you have 24 inch machines the ratchet strap will be too long to tighten, and will layer up in the ratchet so that the ratchet doesn't have room to spin any tighter. We had to cut about 8 inches off our strap to make it work, and now it's fine. If you have 24 inch machines, you can do a dry run with just the strap on your stack to measure the length needed.

The stacking shelf itself works great and is sturdy. The pull out rack was disappointing. The bars on the rack are cheap aluminum and they kept popping out and some eventually bent. I don’t even bother using the pull out shelf anymore.

We bought a stackable GE washer and dryer 5 years ago and unfortunately the washer started having problems that would be too expensive to fix (estimate was as much as the cost of a new washer). The new models for the products we bought 5 years ago have been upgraded and the dimensions of the new washer model no longer exactly matches our exisitng dryer so we could not stack with the recommended GE stacking hardware. It seemed wasteful to get rid of a perfectly functional dryer and buy a new one just so we can use all GE products...solution? this awesome product! This totally changed the game for us. We now have the older dryer on top of a new washer and they are stacked snug and tight together with the adjustable connecting frame held together securely with the ratchet strap. Have had this set up for months and have had the peace of mind that the stacked appliances are safely in their place. I actually feel that this set up is more secure than what we had before.

I replaced a broken dryer with a new one from different brand. This universal stacking kit works well for stacking the existing washer with the new dryer. Without it it would have been near impossible to do it. The product is sturdy and easy to assembly. The locking mechanism and ratchet strap secure the washer and dryer well. Good quality and do its job.
