As a tip for early detection, first morning urine is the most concentrated to detect metabolized hCG in urine. This happens as soon as 4-7 days before missed period and one day or after missed period for optimal times to test for early pregnancy screening. A woman's hCG detection for pregnancy will not start to dramatically increase until 3-6 weeks after implantation occurs.
