True Dates - COOKIE DOUGH | naturally flavoured sweet dates | No added sugar, Vegan, Palm Oil Free | 100 g

I’m a massive fan of these dates - they honestly taste like sweets! I first came across them in Søstrene Grene in Canary Wharf, but could never find them ‘up norf’, so I was very happy when I spotted them on Amazon. Since then, I’ve tried the Sour Apple, Sour Watermelon and Sweet Peach flavours. The apple and watermelon ones are my faves - they’ve got a proper sour zing and you’d genuinely forget you were eating dates. They’re soft, chewy and very moreish. The Sweet Peach ones weren’t quite as good for me. They’re nice enough, but I found the flavour a bit weaker and not nearly as punchy as the apple and watermelon.

I love these. Second time I’ve purchased and I like that you can get multipacks of mixed or one flavor. Cola is my favorite but I like all of them. The peach is the most subtle and more ‘date’ tasting but the others could be mistaken for sweets. I love they have no added sugar and the flavoring is just a powder added. Highly recommend for a sweet snack and perfect to keep on you for an easy accessible snack.

These things are dangerous! It’s hard to open a pack and not devour the whole thing. Somehow they’ve made them taste EXACTLY like cola bottles. But they are dates. The other ones in the range also taste exactly right. And they are all just as mind blowing because who’d have thought dates could take on other flavours so readily!

★★★☆☆ 3 out of 5 stars I’ve tried a few flavours of True Dates and had mixed results. The Watermelon flavour stayed soft and enjoyable throughout the bag, but I found the Peanut Butter flavour became noticeably drier over time, which affected the texture and overall eating experience. Pros: • Naturally sweet and satisfying snack. • Watermelon flavour was tasty and stayed soft. • Good alternative to processed sweets. • Convenient for snacking on the go. Cons: • The Peanut Butter flavour became quite dry compared to the Watermelon one. • Quality and texture seemed inconsistent between flavours. • The resealable packaging wasn’t very reliable on some of the bags and didn’t stay sealed properly after opening. • A little pricey for what you get unless they’re on offer. Overall, I like the concept and some flavours are definitely better than others. The Watermelon flavour was my favourite, but the dryness of the Peanut Butter dates, the issues with the resealable packaging, and the regular price mean I’m giving these 3 stars.

These are great. I love dates but these flavoured ones are so good. The cola ones actually taste like the sour cola bottles. I would highly recommend. The reason I gave 4 stars is the dates could have been a bit more moist. Will be buying again

These are so naughty because of how dang good they are. Honestly wish they were available more often because value for money is really good, I enjoy the crunch of the pistachio coating and the soft to chewy of the dates. It's really difficult to limit how much you eat. A really great natural snack and if it were available for sub and save? regular sub and save.

These are absolutely delicious 😋 definitely going to be a regular for me now. I have lots of other flavours to try but this is my favourite so far....yum

Apple flavour is delicious, cola is average, watermelon is awful! So far those are three flavours I’ve tried and Apple is the only one I’ve re-ordered

Vraiment pas bon et texture désagréable

C’est vraiment original, le choix est bien varié. Celui qui me tentait le plus reste une déception, mais le reste est très bon. Mon petit classement: 1. Creamy peanut butter, c’est mon préféré, le goût est entre le purée de cacahuète et le kinako (c’est de la poudre de soja torréfié) 2. Celui à la pistache, vraiment naturel, j’adore! 3. Caramel popcorn, c’est très bon, un poil trop sucré 4. Cinnamon roll, j’aime pas du tout, je suis un peu déçu, le goût est très fort (je consomme beaucoup de cannelle de base et c’est pas le même gout que la cannelle de saïgon ou de ceylan) Je recommanderai 😉

Fazit: Endlich ein Snack, der Geschmack und Gesundheit perfekt vereint. Die anderen Sorten (Cola, Pfirsich, Zimtschnecke) stehen definitiv auf meiner Probier-Liste!
