will not work with wpa3 wireless security that some isp require. I added a router in access point mode to solve that. Also not working last I checked with new firmware on p1s I just downgraded to one that will. I like the large and moveable display

Right after I bought this an update to the printer made it so this thing does not work with the printer anymore. Company said to go back to old firmware and software to use their screen and that they were working on an update to fix the issue. Almost two months and no updates so these things are useless. They should not be selling this anymore since they are falsely claiming how it works, since it will no longer communicate with a printer with updated firmware. If they stop lying and fix the issue I will update this review, but until then save yourself some money and just upgrade to a printer with a better screen.

I bought this for my A1 Mini. It's definitely not needed but it's kinda cool not having to go to the printer to see what's going on. Sure you can just look on the computer or you phone but why when you could buy this and look at it. As far as installation it's pretty easy, nothing too crazy with the install. I've seen other places that people are having problems with the wifi but so far mine has been working flawless. If you have a few bucks lying around and can find it on sale I'd say buy it just for the heck of it.

this is a good product considering i can get a touch screen on my p1s instead of relying on the dpad, there is however 2 problems, 1st of all, this product didn’t come with the magnetic charging thing it apparently said it came with (idk if i got the base model or idk) and the 2nd problem was i was getting a error on the printer after pairing, downgrading to 1.07 however fixed that other than that, this is a good purchase

I can control all my Bambulab printers with ease. I learned that firmware upgrades could render it unusable, I don't plan on upgrading the firmware, I'm happy with the way the printers work. Installation is straight forward, documentation is good, plus there are many videos with step by step instructions.

Update: I had to return the item after using it for a day. The screen kept flickering on and off and I went to plug in the cable and the charging port broke off. Not sure if this was why I received it opened as a returned item? I will order a other one as I did like it. I purchased this for the Bambu Lab P1S. It's better than the stock display. It's nice to be able to see all the words on the screen. It was easy to set up, however, you will need to update the firmware and .img file when you get it because it wouldn't authenticate to the Bambu website. The only complaint I have is that I received an opened one. It works and I wasn't happy but didn't want to go through the hassle of a return.

I love this screen, it works great but with Bambu Labs new security protocols you get some bugs not the products fault

NO LONGER WORKS WITH BAMBU PRINTERS. The firmware is outdated and is not capable of sending commands to printers, only monitoring what's happening. They have stated they will NOT be updating this, making it almost completely useless. The fact that it's still being advertised as it is is criminal. A quick search will confirm dozens of commenters on various forums lost functionality some time ago. It's a shame because it genuinely would have been a great product otherwise. However, as it stands you're paying for a product that does not deliver in any meaningful way and I would advise to stay away from Biqu/Bigtreetech as they've really shown their colors with this. One final note- Their wiki (which you are often directed to) is near unintelligible and broken. Unacceptable for a company that requires documentation for it's products.
