Perfect family game
Another prime deal so I think it was around $8. Great price. My family loves The Game of Life. This one is cute as you can get a dog or cat. The cards and board feel cheaper than the original game we have (early addition with the 3D houses). This one doesn’t have the 3D houses and the spinner attaches to a corner. That was my one gripe as it kept coming off which was just a bit irritating. The game is a little different than the others, like you don’t have to buy a house, and stock numbers are including with your career card. There are different paths for starting a family or not. My favorite part is on the action cards there are talking points. Like what type of car would you buy? Or describe your favorite amusement park ride. In a world full of technology and kids lacking the ability to day dream or create original ideas, I love this part. It starts a family dialog. The game was played in about an hour, with interruptions. Our youngest player was 8.

Still fun after all these years.
Love this game. Used to play it when I was younger and decided to start playing it again. It's fun, simple and had some changes since back in the day. Now you can add pets to your family, and choose if you'd rather go to college or get a job right away. It's a kids game, but I'm an adult, and I play it with my boyfriend. Granted we make up our own rules lol, but it's still fun to play. The pets and people are made much cheaper and flimsy since back in my day, but what isn't these days?

Not your old game of Life but just as fun
Interesting new version of the game of Life. Doesn't play the same as the game of Life I had as a kid but it was just as fun. This is our third game of Life and each play a little different. My daughter loves the addition of pets to the game. Gives it an extra little quirkiness to the game and keeps it interesting. Easy assembly since you don't have to place all of the buildings on before you play. I wish they would add $20,000 dollar bills back to the game again. It gets annoying using so many $10,000 bills for change but that is just a small annoyance. Overall very happy with the game and the new gameplay.

Classic family fun
Santa brought this to my 11 year old son, who has been watching game of life videos on YouTube. He screamed when he opened it. This was a childhood favorite of mine as well, so I was equally as excited. Our whole family has had a ball with this game. The addition of pets and spin it to win it is a lot of fun too. I’m still not sure why you earn money for kids at the end, instead of losing money once you have kids, but that is all part of the fun. Great purchase at a great price. :)

The Game of Life....not as I knew it!
We bought this for my son for Christmas and he is HOOKED. There are many things I love about it (the addition of pets is awesome) but there are some things that just feel so much more complicated than the Life I knew as a kid. (The spinning for $200,000 and also choosing a number with your career that you have to remember to collect money for when it's spun!) All in all, it's still an awesome game (though we joked that they really needed to upgrade the cars to at least 7 seaters with all the pets and kids you now can get!!!!!!!!!!)

Best Family Game Still!
Bought this game so kids would have an alternative on the weekend other than video games. I played this game as a kid and it was so much fun. When we took out this game for the 1st time, my kids loved it as well as my husband. Directions were simple, on nice colorful print, and very straight forward. We finished the game in a good amount of time. Glad it wasn't too long like how some games can be.

Great new game during COVID
We bought this early on, during our COVID at home time in the spring. I had never played this growing up, but both of our kids had played it at daycare several years ago. We played it frequently in the spring (while we have colder weather). I'm sure it will make a frequent return once we head into later fall/winter again. Very fun game for my kids. And I like that the game length isn't too long (maybe 10-15 minutes total).

Great to play with kids, don’t expect original.
This game is GREAT for kids. It’s not the original and has less pieces, so as long as your expectations don’t lie in nostalgia, you’ll love it. This gets kids talking and involved with cards like “You went to the pet park, tell everyone what animals you saw” and “you won an award, give everyone a hug!” This game is incredibly wholesome and truly wonderful to play with kids, and you’ll have have fun too! DON’T expect the original, but you can absolutely appreciate the differences.

After reading a few reviews of people complaining about the bad quality of this board game, I hesitated to buy it. However, the game seemed fun and the price on Amazon was lower than other stores so I decided to give it a try. I am very satisfied of my purchase. This game is so much fun and I had no problem with the quality of the board along with the different components that comes with it. I like that you spin a wheel of numbers instead of using a dice which makes it more interesting. I also really like that there are different paths you can choose from which gives more variety every time you play. The ending of the game is always different depending mainly on luck but also the choices you make. I enjoy answering the questions on action cards which makes the game more socially interactive. Even if it is a game of 4 players max, it was still fun with only 2 players. My only complains would be that the pegs are small, the bills are flimsy and the cards are very pointy on the corners. Just little details that could be improved but otherwise I recommend playing this board game with friends and family.

The box arrived a little smashed, but the game was intact and it is a lot of fun. I recommend.

Excelente juego familiar!!!
