For myself, if I can’t put on a brand new pair of shoes, essentially, forget, I’m wearing them, I will not purchase. In my experience, Clark’s has always been "THAT SHOE”! I recommend knowing a company before you begin to base your size trust.The long lasting quality thing is something that hold true, when and if it’s true, over time. Okay, I've got an issue that perhaps a few readers might relate to, but most undoubtedly will not. First of all I have rather big wide feet and wear an 11 1/2 wide shoe, a size that's difficult to find in a casual shoe. Secondly I have a sports car with a manual 'stick' transmission, a few of you might remember or at least heard of those. Well big shoes on big feet don't work very well when three petals are involved and I've been searching for months for a pair that does. There are of course professional racing shoes, but they're expensive, probably uncomfortable and likely difficult to walk in. And there are also so called 'driving shoes', but that's just a description any manufacturer can use. In both case it's the size that's the problem. Most don't offer half sizes above ten or eleven. So for me these shoes were a rare find. They fit,they're comfortable and they're proportions and style allow me to drive my car smoothly and confidently. I'm a happy guy. So why four stars? All I can say is that they're a bit odd looking, but that just my opinion.

Love these , they look good fit good and are comfortable. I bought a second second pair as a backup.

I have purchased several pair of Clark's loafers for my husband who is rather hard on shoes and have been very satisfied with the quality and fit. So confident in Clark's that we brought these shoes on a trip to Scotland with us having not worn yet. Very disappointed that they ripped at the side of the ankle the first day he wore them!! Should have taken a photo but we just through them away. I had purchased them in December, 2022 and he didn't wear them till June, 2023 so it would have been too late to send back. Definitely not up to Clark's usual quality.

This is my sixth pair of Clark’s And have never had an issue. I wore these around four times in the last time I warm that side piece of fabric just split. I don’t know if this was a fluke, quality control issue, or if this is the characteristic of this issue, But I was very surprised and disappointed

I really enjoyed this shoe. The leather quality seems good. I like the white soul on it. Slips on really easy in the inside of the shoe has a very comfortable insole. I wish it was a little bit higher up on my ankle though they’re kind of blow riding I know that’s probably the design intention but I like my shoes to hide my socks a little bit more.
