After buying a few aftermarket parts for my Maverick I decided to purchase this set of Torx sockets for the installation to save myself some frustration and also to kept the integrity of the fastener in tact and most importantly save myself some frustration, skinned knuckles and the paint on my truck in the event one of my antique Torx bits slips or rounds out the screw. This is a nice little set of sockets and very reasonably priced on desertcart, a few are 1/4” drive, a few are 3/8” drive, and I believe the largest is 1/2” drive. All were very well designed and manufactured that ensured a great fit and they all come in a nice case to ensure I won’t mis-place any of them. After this experience I’d definitely look at purchasing other items from Bates Choice, they shipped in one day and comes with a replacement warranty… Review: High quality bits in a nice case. This is the one to buy. - This is a nice assortment in a nice case. I tried two different socket wrenches and one extension and these fit tightly. The inserts are firmly attached to the socket base. The bit length is sufficient that I did not need an extension for most screws. I ordered this because I am tired of replacing bits that strip after a few uses, hoping this set would alleviate the problem. It does. So far I have used two of the bits. One I used on two screws that were tightly attached to a miter saw frame and they came out without a problem. The other I used for more than 200 quality deck screws while building fence gates using pressure treated lumber. The longest was 3-1/2 inches. None stripped, all tightened fully, and other than some expected discoloration of the finish at the end of the bit, no bit damage or deterioration at all. Including a nice case that holds the bits and closes securely is an added bonus.

nice size range of torx bits
Nice range of torx sizes T8, T10, T15, T20, T25, T30, T40, T45, T47, T50, T55, and T60 Made of S2 steel. Quality is Equal or Better than H/F or Big Box store for far less money. I would rate these fine for ratchet or electric driver drill tools use. I would avoid air impact guns with these. Solid medium duty home owner grade or light duty pro-grade set. Comes with a nice compact blow molded case. You will not find another torx set this complete at this price point.

Great set
Great set very well made and great price. I used them to drive in 3/16" x 6" wood screws with an impact and they worked very well. No breakage or distorted tips after heavy use. Very hard driver bits
