The set is very plain and basic, but I didn't buy it for the aesthetics. What's great is I can leave it on the kitchen table with a problem set up, and three days later the pieces are still where I placed them. It's an excellent tool for teaching the game to my 13 year-old because the position is still there to capture his attention when the mood strikes. Recommended.

I bought this as my granddaughter wanted to learn how to play the game. It is ideal for beginners. A good size, and nicely made. Compact once folded, with all of the pieces safely stored inside. Its magnetic properties prevent any accidental knocks. Good value for money.

Well made, perfect size for a school bag or rucksack, unlike other travel sets where the pieces are tiny, the board and pieces are a good useable size, even for adults. Would recommend.
