This is as warm as it says! I love the little side loops that can faster so it stays wrapped around you. The outside shell is great and not too crinkly or noisy when you fold it or move around in it (unlike some other brands I have tried). The inside fleece is soft to the touch and the print is just as pictured. It rolls up nicely and easily fits back into the tote bag. the optional strap is nice to have as well. The zippered pocket is also great. I plan to use this as a spectator for track, cross country and outdoor swim meets when the weather is cooler or wet. I bought a second one for my daughter to have with her as she has breaks between events/races. It would also be a great blanket just to lay on the ground to have a place to sit, especially if the ground is damp. Excited to use it.

We got 12 of these to use with our sled dog team. The blankets are AMAZING. There is a shell on one side and a fuzzy, fleece on the other side. Many blankets attract and hold dog fur - these do NOT! Other blankets also hold on to straw - and these do NOT! They worked amazingly well in super wet snow and held fast when the wind was blowing. The shell seems to be pretty water proof - but we did not use them in driving rain, but they did not get wet in the heavy, wet snow. They packed pretty small for such as large size. When it was time to move on, we just shook them, and 90% of the straw fell off - and there was very little dog fur left! And they worked well for HUMANS, too!

Love these for outdoor sporting events. Nice and warm. They roll up quickly to put them back in their bag.

For the price, this is the one. I bought this for sitting out in the wind and light rain at baseball tournaments. Spring and Fall always have a month where the games can get miserable for spectators and require blankets. This folds up nicely in a small bag, but does the trick. It is not the expensive $150 Mambe blanket which I will ask for for Christmas :) but for under $30, it will work! This blanket is quilted so it doesn't slide around, and though it came out of the bag seeming a little stiff, after a few washes and drys, it is flexible. The fleece underneat is soft, not microfiber plush, but soft and warm. "Down Under Outdoors Premium Large Waterproof, Windproof, Quilted Fleece Stadium Blanket, Machine Washable, Camping, Picnic & Outdoor..." It was true to size at 82 x 55 inches My son and I went outside with two Amazon similar blankets (this and the "XL Plush Fleece Outdoor Stadium Rainproof and Windproof Picnic Blanket - Camp Blanket (Blue)" in a very light rain with the wind blowing a bit and the wind came right through the XL Plush fleece blanket, the water did dampen but not soak the outer shell, but it was not raining hard. I don't see how that would keep anyone warm and dry or be used as picnic blanket if the grass was damp. We chose to keep the Down Under blanket, which felt much warmer in the wind and after several washes became very soft and was definitely more substantial and windproof and stable (not sliding bc it's qulited) than this XL Plush. After a few games I will decide whether to buy a second Down Under. I wish it came in more colors and I wish it had just a thinlayer of padding/insulation between the layer of plush and the waterproof layer, just to make it a little more cozy. But for the price this is great and suits our purposes fine.

This blanket is wind and water proof! It’s pretty thin but works great. It’s no some much for warmth. I love that it’s quilted not a piece of waterproof fabric intermittently stitched over a heavier fabric. Great quality

Just arrived to my house and I am excited to use it! I got this to lay down in the back of my SUV when I have the seats folded and am hauling stuff. The bonus is that when I am not using it for that reason I have a warm blanket for emergencies or a blanket for that impromptu visit to a park and I just want to sit for a bit. This blanket is very useful for so many things. It feels soft and cozy on one side and more industrial on the other. It is compact and stores well in the storage bag that comes with it. It is not heavy so that makes it easy to carry. The case has an adjustable handle too. This will be great for so many things! I love the pattern I got too!

This is an amazing picnic blanket, really the best I've ever had. Since I got it in 2019 it has been my trusty companion for picnics, camping trips, fireworks, parades, watching sunsets by a lake, you name it. It works great on cold damp ground to keep me warm and dry, with just enough padding to make the lumpy ground comfortable. It's a good size for multiple people, and I've had picnics with 5 people on it. It's even made a comfortable sleeping bag pad for impromptu camping under the stars, and was surprisingly warm on a chilly summer night. It washes well, and has maintained it's waterproofing and durability really well. During the winter, I keep it in my car in case I get stuck snowed in somewhere inconvenient, and during the summer it's a constant companion for outdoor adventures. It's surprisingly compact, especially with the stuff sack. I have another blanket that I got at a grocery store a few years ago, and this is lighter, packs significantly smaller, is warmer and better padded. I love the little pocket for keeping track of things while using the blanket too. This thing has been so versatile for dates, family gatherings, and visits with friends. I really can't recommend it enough.

I love these blankets and already own 2 of the plaid ones and just added a third. They're well made and the quilting prevents the slip you typically get with this style of waterproof ground blanket. In fact, if you're new to these kinds of blankets - don't ever buy one without quilting, it will drive you nuts. These DownUnders are lightweight but feel thick enough to add some fair cushioning and softness. I have a high-end $250 version from a well known brand and two cheaper (unquilted) ones and this feels solidly in the middle and is very fairly priced. I actually reach for these most often because of the lightweight factor. They're great for picnics, camping and outdoor activities. I also have one dedicated to my 12 yr old golden retriever that loves sitting on the porch or back deck, but the hard surfaces aren't great on her joints and this keeps her clean and nicely cushioned and dry in all kinds of weather, even when the ground is damp after the rain. These blankets also machine wash incredibly well and dry quickly in the sun for re-use. Excellent brand and quality! Mine still look like new even after heavy use and washing over the years.

Great quality. One side is soft other is a nylon material. Just used for emergency or outdoor use. Perfect for this purpose.

This Picnic mat is quite large and definitely of very good quality, a perfect buy and a perfect price.
