[Intel Certified] 80Gbps Thunderbolt 5 Cable with up to 120Gbps Bandwidth Boost and 240W Charging in Black - 1m / 3.3ft, Compatible with Thunderbolt 4, USB 4 and USB-C

I've been using this now for a few months to connect an external Acasis Thunderbolt 5 SSD enclosure to my Mac Studio. Performance and reliability have been perfect with no disconnections or any drops in performance. The cable is quite short, which is ideal as it means I don't have a tangle of cables on my desk.

They are thick and high end cables! far beyond Samsung and similar cables, which are thin and easily damaged. Compatible with type C devices and offer both charging and data transfer at high speed. No wonder they are reputable brand and expensive, but worth every penny!

Over the years ive spent a lot on top end cables, however saw this and thought I would try it. Then tried cancelling the order after thinking about how much it is. Already sent so it didnt cancel the order, got it the next day Sunday, so could take it to the PO, however using my normal cables I transferred a series mid size files to a usb hard drive, it took 3mins 40secs, I thought ok I will try this one the thunderbolt 5, it did it in 42secs, I then popped on a usb a 3.2 adaptor on the usb c and it did the transfer in 36secs, I decided to keep the cable, I guess when you look at it, it just looks like a cable, its when you use it, you realise why it costs more.

Excellent value and quality

Nothing bad to say about this cable - it works flawlessy and lets me transmit data at ridiculous speeds from my LaCie RAID to my MBP. which is crucial for me as I keep 20TB of large image and video files on the RAID to work with on my MBP. Pros: * High quality and durable construction * Super fast - I'm getting max speeds of around 10Gbps - but this is rated for far higher than that * Power supply - up to 240 watts - way more than I need but it keeps my MBP that needs 130 watts charged and fully powered * Precisely engineered - the USB C plugs slide into the port and create a reassuring click when they connect. Cheap cables don't do that. Actually only reason I need to knock a star off - for the cost, only 1 metre is a bit short. Maybe I'd expect it for a 2 metre cable, but you are quite limited in what you can do with this if you have a complicated office setup.

I ordered this yesterday and it came this afternoon. I have an M1 MBP and wanted to connect my Sandisk G40 SSD to it for high speed date transfer to use with Final CutPro. As a comparison, with a USB-C cable the speed was under 1000, with a TB3 cable it was about 1900 but with the TB5 cable it is well over 2500. Very very impressed and I'm guessing if it was used with a TB5 computer it would be even quicker

I needed a new Thunderbolt cable for my laptop. My laptop has a Thunderbolt 5 interface, so I thought I would see how much more a TB5 cable was vs a TB4 cable was. Not a lot as it happens. I have tested it with a TB3 and TB4 device, and it appears to be working. Would purchase again.

Noticeably faster charging as well as data transfer, highly recommended.

アンカー製のThunderbolt4対応のドッキングステーション経由でアンカー製Thunderbolt4対応ケーブルで繋いだところ外付けGPUや外付けSSDが認識しませんでしがこちらのThunderboltケーブルにGPU側とモバイルPC側を接続したところ一切途切れることなく全ての機器が安定動作しました 試しにそれぞれ切り分けをしましたがGPU側がこれ以外でも駄目、モバイルPC側もこのケーブル以外はだめでした おもしろいのがドッキングステーションに付属してきた自称Thunderbolt４のケーブルすらも駄目だだったのでアンカーよりも信頼性が高いですね

Vitesse impressionnante et parfait pour l’avenir. J’ai acheté ce câble Thunderbolt 5 principalement pour accélérer le transfert de données entre mon iPhone 15 Pro Max et mon MacBook Pro 16" (M4 Pro). Je savais que la vitesse maximale de l’iPhone est de 10 Gb/s, mais j’ai choisi ce câble en pensant aussi à mes futurs appareils compatibles TB5. Dès la première connexion, j’ai enfin vu dans la configuration macOS que l’iPhone était bien reconnu à 10 Gb/s. Lors de la sauvegarde complète, la vitesse n’était pas multipliée par dix (beaucoup de petits fichiers limitent le débit), mais pour le transfert de vidéos lourdes, c’était quasiment instantané — une énorme différence par rapport au câble standard fourni. 👉 Points positifs : Très haute vitesse confirmée avec mon iPhone, nette amélioration par rapport au câble d’origine. Longueur compacte de 0,3 m, parfaite pour une connexion propre sur le bureau. Connexion stable : le câble s’insère facilement dans les ports, sans jeu. Suffisamment souple malgré sa courte longueur, ce qui le rend agréable à utiliser. 👉 À améliorer : Le câble n’est pas gainé en tissu. Ce n’est pas un problème de qualité, mais personnellement je préfère les câbles tressés. Un excellent choix si vous voulez déjà profiter de la vitesse maximale de vos appareils actuels et être prêt pour l’arrivée de périphériques TB5. Pour moi, le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, et j’ai hâte de le tester avec un futur disque externe compatible Thunderbolt 5.
