Is dowel-spacing, on-center, always the same, or does it vary according to dowel size?

It's always centered no matter the dowel size. You can always shim if it if you need it to be not centered. This is a great jig and very versatile. Can't go wrong in my opinion.

For the cam locking hole, can it make all the holes or only the dowel hole?
