The down rod worked perfectly for raising our new fan. The installation was straightforward, and the ball head design fit our fan nicely. The down rod feels sturdy and well-made, and the black finish looks great with our setup. Very happy with this purchase!

Worked well for our replacement ceiling fan. We still need some other additional parts, but this was one of the parts we needed good quality good value. It was the right size for the fan we needed.

Worked perfect for the fan in my barn. Celing was really tall so this downrod was just what I needed to get the fan with light lower to cool and shed more light in my barn. This was the perfect height.

If you are purchasing this downrod over others because it comes with wires, please note that the wires I got in the 36" downrod were only like maybe 38" long, so there really was no extra wiring to use. This made it difficult to use in my case because I needed longer wires to extend my fan with. You don't want too many extra connections when dealing with DC power so splicing in an additional foot of wires or whatever would have probably made things inoperable, or not operating optimally. You may need to still get longer wires when purchasing this downrod. I should note that this is a nice looking downrod though. It should match most compatible fans and is well made. Just don't rely on the wires being long enough.

I needed a slightly longer universal downrod for a ceiling fan I was putting up so it would match the height of the others. This worked perfectly and was pretty easy to install in-place of the 4-inch that came with the fan. It does have a groove for locking the bar so it can't turn once installed as well.

Perfect size and color

We had gutters installed and my outdoor fan was not able to clear so I decided to order the down rod. The package arrived as promised and I used it right out of the box. Easy to install and the rod has a great finish and looks like the original that came with my outdoor fan. The quality of the rod speaks for itself and you will not have to worry about does it fit or will my fan fall. I highly recommend the down rod if you are needing to lower your fan and the pricing is great when you consider the quality of the product.

Be careful, some fans require a threaded end, others do not. These downrods do not have a threaded end. It ended up working well for one of our Hampton Bay fans, but the other two (even though they were also Hampton Bay) which were a different style requried threaded ends, so we had to return 2/3 rods.

It serves the purpose but I found the price extremely high for a piece of metal rod. I was in a rush hence had no choice but I wish i researched more and am sure i would have found way cheaper options
