Very happy with the iRasptek Raspberry Pi 5 kit I purchased. Everything arrived on time & boxed well so it was safe from damage. I like the kit as it has everything, I needed to start using it, cables, TF card & even TF card adapter. Excellent quality metal case which fits well & easy to setup. Came with a 27W power supply which is really good as I want to run quite a few accessories off the device. I think this is a great starter kit for anyone who wants to get into single board computing or wants to get their kids into it as it is so easy to get started. Even if you know what you are doing it is convenient to get all the bits needed together in one go and was not any more expensive than if I had bought them separately. Would highly recommend the kit.

I bought this Raspberry Pi during the Black Friday sale and the price was excellent. The kit included everything needed to get started. The Pi itself is a brilliant little device. The case it came with is sturdy, and the included fan was easy to fit and strong enough to make a noticeable difference. It also came with a 128 GB memory card with good read and write speeds, which is more than enough for almost any project. I was especially grateful that the kit included two mini HDMI to HDMI cables. I’d accidentally ordered a USB-C to HDMI cable, so without those included cables I wouldn’t have been able to use the Pi for another couple of days. Having spares is a bonus. Overall, I’m very happy with the price, very happy with the kit, and I’ll definitely be using iRasptek again.

The overall package is quality. It's presented in a nicely compact way, which fits the whole mini form of the Pi series. The contents are everything you need from a quality branded SD card to details as the mini screwdriver head being magnetised so that screwing the board to the chassis is a breeze without losing screws. All components fit nicely and are well engineered. From opening to first power up took ~5 minutes. Now it's time to get reafilliated with a CLI OS. In saying that the preisntalled Pi OS runs smooth and swift. For a GUI on such a tiny machine it really is a joy . Plenty of external ports for connectivity of peripherals etc although I do wish there was a second USB-C along with the power delivery. All in all I'm ready to geek out.

My 8 year old put this together this evening and had it up and running from box to login in 20mins. Good quality Power Supply Unit provided with this kit. The kit also contained the Pi 5 board itself; it's fan-assisted heatsink; two HDMI output cables; a 128Gb SD card; a cute dual USB-A and USB-C SD card reader; a bag or screws and case accessories; some basic instructions and a small screwdriver. Things to watch for: - When connecting the fan to the Pi board, there is a tiny plastic hat on the pins that needs to be removed to expose the socket into which the fan power cable connects; - Make sure you peel the plastic off the blue thermal pads on the bottom of the heatsink before attaching it to the Pi 5 board, and when you do connect it, make sure it's straight because those pads are super sticky; - In the bag with the screws is a clear plastic button that needs to be placed into the hole in the case from the inside 'before' popping the Pi into the case. This clear plastic part acts as a button and also carries the light from the Pi LED through to the outside of the case; - When aligning the Pi 5 board in the case, we found it useful to pop the side with the power and HDMI ports in first, and then we popped the first screw in next to the power connector, only half tightening it to allow the board to wiggle a bit before putting in the diagonally opposite screw next, then the final two motherboard screws and only then tightening everything up; - The two sections of the black aluminium case are finally held together by a single screw located on the top of the case. The fan is nice and quiet, and the aluminium case aided the distribution of the extra heat created by the Pi 5. After running for an hour, the case was fractionally cooler than a passive cooling aluminium case we have on a Pi 4. So that's a great sign. We flashed Kali onto the SD card because that operating system comes pre-installed with the tools my lad needs for his various infosec projects. To do this we used Win32DiskImage on a Windows PC to write the 64bit Arm version of Kali to the SD card, before popping the SD card in... and it booted first time. Fun quick project, great value for money, especially with the £20 off voucher applied at the time we purchased it. And the quality of the PSU and aluminium case, along with the convenience of having everything in one kit and knowing it's all compatible, is worth the delta in cost from buying all the parts separately. The Pi 5, with it's 8 Gb of RAM is definitely noticeably quicker than the Pi 4. I remain a fan of the Raspberry Pi, and this kit is a fab intro for anyone who wants to get into these fun devices.

A concise starter kit - I wanted to set up local HomeAssistant instance based on raspberry pi and was deciding between assembling parts myself and getting a kit, this kit seemed like a better value. It comes with everything I needed for wireless setup (pi itself, power adapter, sdcard with a reader, micro-hdmi for first time setup). Assembly took couple of minutes to figure out what goes where, but was very easy (it even has a nice magnetic screwdriver included). I would suggest adding small felt stickers to act as legs/coasters for a case to prevent slipping. Aluminium case itself has a nice matte finish and quite small. Feels well made - all usb/ethernet/hdmi port openings are in correct spots. When device is in idle state (e.g. cpu usage is around 1-2%) case itself stays around body temperature and cooler is silent. Software wise - Raspberry's imager allows quickly flash whatever system image you need. In my case, I wanted to flash home assistant OS, it was in a list of supported images. Overall it took around 10 minutes from flashing to having system up and running

Kommt mit allem, was Sie brauchen, Kühlung, Speicherkarte, metal case und Ladegerät und HDMI-Kabel. Es ist ein toller Preis. Es ist sehr einfach zu montieren, alles passt reibungslos zusammen. Der Lüfter ist sehr leise, und das Ladegerät liefert den benötigten Strom ohne Probleme. Es kommt mit Debian Bookworm vorinstalliert, so dass es von Minute 1 funktioniert. Ich benutze es von der Kommandozeile, aber die LXDE ist leicht und Sie können es ohne Probleme mit minipc Desktop verwenden. Eine große Verbesserung seit Raspberry 4 für meine Projekte.

Ho acquistato un Raspberry Pi per utilizzarlo in diversi progetti fai-da-te e sono nel complesso soddisfatto del suo funzionamento. La configurazione è semplice e le prestazioni sono ottime per un dispositivo così compatto e versatile. Funziona bene sia per applicazioni di base che per progetti più avanzati come server domestici o piattaforme per smart home. Tuttavia, devo segnalare un problema con la ventola inclusa o che ho aggiunto per il raffreddamento. All'inizio è silenziosa, ma dopo un po' di utilizzo diventa sorprendentemente rumorosa. Questo non è un grosso problema per chi usa il Raspberry in ambienti dove il rumore non è fastidioso, ma in un contesto domestico o in ufficio può risultare piuttosto irritante. Consiglio comunque questo dispositivo per la sua versatilità e qualità, ma se il rumore è un problema, suggerisco di investire in una ventola più silenziosa o considerare sistemi di raffreddamento passivo per evitare il fastidio. Pro: - Prestazioni ottime per le dimensioni. - Facile da configurare. - Ampia gamma di utilizzi. Contro: - La ventola può diventare molto rumorosa dopo un po' di tempo. --------- Aggiornamento 18/12: il servizio clienti mi ha prontamente contattato per risolvere il problema della ventola rumorosa offrendomi un'ottima soluzione. Compramos esta Raspberry Pi 5 y la verdad es que nos ha sorprendido gratamente. El kit viene muy completo, con la tarjeta de 128GB ya preparada con Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm, lo que facilita muchísimo la instalación y permite empezar a usarlo perfectamente desde el primer momento. La caja de aluminio se siente resistente y de buena calidad, además ayuda a mantener una buena temperatura. El rendimiento de la Raspberry Pi 5 ha sido perfecto para lo que hemos probado hasta ahora. Hemos probado varios proyectos pequeños (vamos aprendiendo sobre la marcha) y hasta ahora no hemos tenido ningún problema. Los 8GB de RAM son más que suficientes. Además el consumo del aparato es muy bajo, que es algo que a nosotros nos ha sorprendido gratamente. Creemos que es una opción muy recomendable para quienes quieren iniciarse con Raspberry Pi sin complicarse comprando los componentes por separado. Todo viene bien presentado, funciona correctamente y ofrece una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Totalmente recomendado.
