Turned the bulbs on at the switch & made sure they were flashing and within seconds they were found & registered.Then returned phone to 5GHz and checked - and yes they work just great, fine in Alexa by voice too once the skill is enabled. It took me 3 attempts to pair with my router, basically switch it off and on 4 times then when it flashes try to connect.
