Die Hard

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I'm not into action-adventures usually, but this is a very exciting, big-budget film with a terrific plot, outstanding dialogue, great direction, and a number of outstanding actors, led by Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman. It's VERY well made, and is quite clever, hip, and incredibly enjoyable and memorable. On top of that, the Blu-ray has simply beautiful picture quality, it's hard to believe that a movie from the late-1980s could look this beautiful on one of today's High-Definition TV's, but they obviously shot it with top-quality equipment at the time, and the remastering of the Blu-ray was top-notch. I recommend this product most highly.

It's Die-Hard on 4k...do I need to say anything more? Buy it. Arguably the best action movie of all time. Great cast, direction, score, cinematography, action ... I could go on forever. This movie is Awesome! Looks and sounds great on 4k.

This was a great value for its condition! The disc is like new and it even came with a slip cover. Thank you so much. This brings back a lot of memories of when my mom took me to the drive-in almost 40 years ago!

The 4K Blu-ray is easily the best way to enjoy this movie. Everything is shown in great detail without running into issues like compression you would find on a streaming service. Not only is the visual quality great but the audio mix was also done quite well!

It's Die Hard... action christmas movie we watch every year on christmas... but wish it could be on full screen

I’m not reviewing the movie which IMHO is 5 stars. Simply put, this movies’ conversion from film to 4K is not what you’ll want to use to show your friends and family the magnanimous quality jump from Blu-Ray to 4K. At times you’ll be hard pressed to believe some of the longer shots are even in HD/Blu-Ray quality. Unfortunately, this disc’s transfer/conversion is seemingly somewhat universal for ALL movies that didn’t originate from HD/4K video cameras. Including Die Hard, I now own six originally on film movies in 4K and they’re all just okay. If you ALREADY own the Blu-Ray versions, you’re not going to get a lot of visual ROI for getting this 4K version. The sound quality is excellent on a 7.1 system.

We always spin this up at Christmas time because it's not Christmas season until Hans falls off the Nakatomi Building... When released in 88 (in July) Bruce was a solid comedic actor with great chops... Moonlighting (TV), Blind Date, Sunset... It was a little reach for him to play an action hero, but he did it solidly with bringing his comedic talents to make it fun. This movie was one of the best Action flicks of the 80s and is just fun. It kicked off a lot of actor's movie and TV careers. I bought this to bring my copy up to speed with the Blu-ray version. The transfer is clean and sharp... I really should have sprung for the 4K version since this was originally shot of film... But this definitely works well for me... It's now on my shelf with the DVD and Laserdisc versions of the movie! ;-)

Ho! Ho! Ho! Now I have the best Christmas move of all time. Yippie Yi Yay Ki Yo Yi Yay!

The 4k works well, but I'm not convinced their is much improvement over the Blu-ray, but on that note I must state that the accompanying Blu-ray disk is not UK region, therefore I can't use it, but I bought it for the 4K (just as well)!
