So i bought this Apri 2020 and started making my own lunches due to lockdown and wanting to save money. It encouraged me to cook helathy stir-frys and do some bento meals. I can put rice veg and some salmon in the bottom one. I can put some snack stuff and the little pot with soy sauce on the top. I think its worth it. I haven't tested out if its leak proof so have kept it level in my lovely lunch bag. The cutlery is good quality but also wish it came with little chopsticks (you eat slower). I have added a strong rubber band as I find the band it comes with isnt tight enough. My boss at work has one too and he wraps his around twice. I'd rather not as I dont think its looks nice.

Good quality lunch box with all the accessories you need, including small pots for dips and dividers to separate foods. It’s a good size for an adult not like a lot of them where you can’t fit anything in. Easy to clean. Love the purple colour. Would recommend.

You can get a lot of food in a small space with this box. I like to use one layer for the main (a rice or pasta dish in my case) and the other for pudding (chocolate-spread sandwich anyone?) Certainly, if you are on a long car journey or want the box for your office lunch, you will get in enough food to keep you happy. BUT, I knock off a star because of that sauce pot. Others have said that it doesn't fit, and they are right. It's not that I actually use the sauce bottle, but I am still knocking off that fifth star because, well, you buy a product like this because you like everything just so. You want perfection. You want to arrange your food neatly in those little compartments and maybe make some beautiful nori rolls. You lovingly wrap the box in the neat elastic band and marvel at the watertight seals of both layers. You stroke your box and whisper sweet nothings to it. But if you can't use the sauce pot and get the lid on properly, you are distraught. If, like me, you solve the problem by pretending that sauce pot was never there, then fine. But if you need the watertight seal AND the sauce pot at the same time, then go ahead and cry. Here's a tissue. You have my deepest sympathy.

I love this lunchbox, it holds the perfect amount and the moveable dividers give you great flexibility. The two pots that come with it are great for sauces, and the cutlery is fantastic quality. I also love the fact that it's fully airtight, with the little rubber grommets allowing easy release of the lids. Perfect for a work lunchbox, I've been using it for several months now and it's still as good as new.

The box is good and utensils as described however the size that was sent was not as listed on amazon - XL ordered but 1200ml box was sent. (Already had a 1200ml so wanted to try next size) Only option would be to return and reorder but prices have changed significantly since first order, and I cannot return the item as described as that’s not what was received.

Wow just wow. It’s amazing and cute to eat out of. Makes you feel like you’re in a restaurant. It’s very nice and good quality too. Only thing is it fits quite a small portion so the two together would be one dinner, but still enough space for rice in one and meat and veg in the other. Well worth the price! Doesn’t leak also, which is important and it looks good!

This is a beautifully designed lunch box, with careful attention paid to the seals. It includes a well designed spoon, knife and fork in a holder that fits inside the lid. My only regrets are that the two compartments are the same size and strap isn’t adjustable. Both containers being the same size means you have to split food across the two boxes if you want to eat something like a salad. If the strap was adjustable then you could take one container out instead of both.

So far this has been a great little bento box. I got this for my daughter to have healthy foods spaced out in different areas for school as timings for lunch at school are not the best times during the current situation. We love creating different lunch ideas to fit in the 2 boxes. You can use one box as well which we do on her shorter day. You can’t cram loads of food in but you can put an ideal portion that would be classed as the right amount for health. The 2 portion dividers won’t separate liquids etc. When I did a salad and put some sliced baguette on the other side of the divider it was a little wet on one side of the bread. So I now put a little bit of kitchen roll or foil around the bread. We have put in salads, sushi, wraps, sandwich (cut in small squares and triangles in one box), then chopped fruit, nuts, homemade biscuits etc in the second box. The disappointment is the ideal little dressing box. The lids don’t fasten securely when in the box. I’m not sure on rice and sauce dishes and if they would leak but to be on the safe side I use a bento box drawstring bag to cover the box just in case. Es perfecta, a nivel de diseño es preciosa, minimalista pero preciosa. Una pega podría ser el hecho de que para llevar los dos compartimentos se necesite de la cuerda elástica, entonces si la pierdes pues tienes un problema (de momento no me ha pasado pero espero que se pueda comprar aparte). No es pesada y creo que cabe la cantidad perfecta de comida para una persona adulta. Hace unos meses que la tengo y no mantiene el olor, cosa que también es una maravilla incluso cuando no la lavas el mismo día. Además no se le pegan los resto de comida, he llevado lasaña en ella y la bechamel se ha quitado sin ningún problema al lavarla a mano. No sé si está antiderrame, la verdad es que no me he atrevido a llevar nada líquido en ella. La recomiendo 100% aunque es verdad que con el precio que tiene, podría mantener el calor cosa que no hace. Creo que el precio es más por el diseño y la marca que por lo que hace en si, porque me compré una en Tiger que me costó 3€ y hace la misma función aunque no están bonita.

Ho acquistato questo portapranzo impilabile con 4 scomparti per una gita di un’intera giornata, in cui dovevamo portare due merende e un pranzo completo, e si è rivelato davvero perfetto. Il colore lavanda è delizioso e il materiale è una plastica rigida di ottima qualità. Nello scomparto superiore c’è lo spazio dedicato alle posate, tutte in plastica rigida e incluse nella confezione: forchetta, coltello, cucchiaio e anche un paio di bacchette. Le posate rimangono ben ferme grazie all’elastico interno, che ha appositi passanti per tenerle in posizione. L’unica piccola nota è che, se usato da bambini che non puliscono le posate prima di riporle, l’elastico potrebbe sporcarsi facilmente. Sono inclusi anche due pratici barattolini porta salse, comodissimi. Nel complesso è un portapranzo solido, funzionale e davvero ben fatto. Lo ricomprerei senza esitazione!

No he llegado a usarlo porque es más pequeño de lo que yo necesito. El diseño es divino. Me ha parecido complicado de abrir, es hermético y hace vacío con lo que abrirlo se complica puesto que no tiene cierres, hay que tirar de la tapa, no se yo con comida dentro lo que podría pasar. Los divisores de comida tampoco me han parecido muy funcionales. Los dos especieros y los cubiertos una pasada de bonitos pero pequeños, la cucharita es poco más que tamaño postre.

Auf der Suche nach einer schönen Bentō-Box bin ich zu den Umami-Boxen gekommen. Die Boxen sehen in dem tiefen schwarz nicht nur edel aus, sie wirken und fühlen sich auch hochwertig an. Es wurde fingerfreundlicher hochwertiger Kunststoff verwendet. Die Boxen sind richtig dickwandig und daher nicht so labberig wie günstigete Varianten. Schön ist auch, dass bei jeder Box ein Trenner dabei liegt. Natürlich ist dieser nicht Wasserdicht und soll es auch gar nicht sein. Die Kritik anderer Käufer an diesem Umstand zeigt, dass sie es nicht verstanden haben. Flüssigkeiten hehören nicht in diese Box. Bei pastösen oder feuchten Essen legt man unten einfach ein paar Nori-Blätter ein. In einer Doppelbox passt ausreichend Essen um im Büro sein Mittags-Bentō abzuhalten. Besteck inbegriffen. Ich reinige die Boxen im Geschirrspüler und sie sind immer noch perfekt in Form und Farbe. Auch hier verziehen sich andere Boxen schnell oder verlieren die Farbe. Zufriedenstellendes Produkt. Kleine Kritikpunkte gibt es aber auch: - die kleinen Döschen sind nicht wirklich dicht. Laufen gerne aus wenn sie nicht gerade stehen. - auch passen sie nicht perfekt in die Box. Der Deckel steht etwas oben über, so das die Zwischenlage nicht perfekt schließt. - Das elastische Band könnte etwas kräftiger sein und leiert schnell aus. Einzelersatz wäre schön ohne den Rest im Kombipack. - leider ist der Deckel nur bedrucktes Plastik und kein echtes Bambus wie bei anderen Anbietern (Geschmackssache) Trotzdem gibt es 5/5 Sterne. Denn es ist Luxuskritik an einem ansonsten guten Produkt.

I've been fascinated by bento videos for a while and wanted to try making bento for myself. And while I thought about getting a more traditional wood bento box the price was a little steep to make a commitment. The Umami bento box is so neat, and for the price is such a great little bento set to start with. It holds a surprising amount of food -- in the photos above, the bottom tier has 6 oz. teriyaki grilled salmon atop 1 cup of white rice in one section, and 1/2 cup of edamame and half an avocado and a cherry tomato in the other section. Then the top tier is cold snacks -- half an apple, one carrot cut into sticks, a mandarin orange, and the 2 included sauce containers, one for salad dressing, one with Nutella for the apple slices. So, that's my lunch plus both of my snack breaks fitting easily into this compact bento box! What's really great is that instead of packing each snack into a separate, disposable plastic bag, I just put them into the bento box with a divider between them. This box will also fit a silicone muffin cup perfectly, which is useful for items you don't want to mix with other stuff (like kimchi, or cucumber salad). Clean-up is very fast -- the boxes and lids (except for the bamboo top) go right into the top rack of the dishwasher. The only thing I don't like about this kit is the chopsticks that are included in the utensil set. They're too small to hold comfortably. But that's really a non-issue, I can just add full-size chopsticks to my lunch bag instead. The bamboo fork/knife/spoon work fine and look fancy.
