Highly recommended for advance students of Russian. Although it says it is in English, the whole book is in Russian and you have an amazing glossary in the final chapter. In my opinion, it is better to get a broader sense of what you are reading rather than being stuck for ages trying to decipher every single grammatical aspect and word to translate the text accurately! Believe me! As opposed to the intricate writing styles of authors like Pushkin or Tolstoy, Chekhov's style is milder than the first two if what you want is not being stuck translating thousands of participles or verbal adverbs! I hope you buy it and enjoy it!!!! :D
