The ones I have will only plug into my multimeter and then nothing else can be plugged in.** A: You are correct, that is the only way to use the mini cables. There are some much more comprehensive cable sets available, which have more connection options, but they are more expensive than these ones, which I have found are ok for my occasional use. **Q: Do these crocodile slip over the probe or do they have the 4mm banana plugs? All items are marked with their maximum voltage and current limits and are "CE" marked. The standard probes show low resistance (0.2 - 0.3 Ohms) on my Fluke 73 multimeter, exactly the same as the Fluke probes, so pretty accurate. My only criticisms are: 1. The probe heads are a bit on the long side. While this is caused, in part, by the adaptability of the probes (the heads can be swapped), they can be awkward to manipulate in enclosed spaces. 2. The croc clips can only be attached to the probe tips (with the sleeves removed), which makes the probe heads even longer! I wouldn't recommend these for professional use - I would always recommend Fluke or Sealey.
