Device is intended for ph5-9, but working well (so far...) with ph11
Installed 4 months ago and working fine. Our setup has it operating up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. At time of purchase the Amazon listing did not mention that the injector's instructions specify the ph should be between 5 and 9. The solution I need to inject is ph11 so it was annoying to find out only after it arrived that this was outside its specs. I decided to try it anyway; the price of the device is low enough that it was an affordable experiment. So far it has been doing well. If this continues it will be excellent value for money.

Accurate mix rate, no problems.
Seems pretty accurate mix rate. I tested (by weight) at 4% and 2%. Came out as 3.8% and 1.7%. Looks like I set the gauge a little low (it's not a very precise marking system). I have not used it with fertilizer yet. no leaks so far (I've only put about 20 gallons through it). I just followed the priming instructions. I built a system with mostly brass parts along the bypass, then some schedule 80 and brass for the mix loop. I also included a drain valve. It's mounted on an aluminum 1.5" angle (painted green) on two U posts. Nice and sturdy, but still moveable with a little effort. I used an RV water pressure valve at the inlet so I can control the system pressure and included a meter at the outlet so I know the pressure going into the drip system.

Plumbed into my sprinkler systems and love it!
Plumbed into my sprinkler systems and love it! I connected a 250 gallon tote to it so i could run compost extract and silica at 3% and have been loving it, I will say that the pump is pretty loud and squeaky upon start up, so just a FYI.

They are good for the cost
I purchased 2 of these. The first worked great out the box. The second I had to add a check valve on the suction. It worked. I will be buying more even with the check valve issue

Leaking Unit, no Customer Support from Seller
Was disappointed to find that I received a leaking product. It was very easy to identify the source of the leak -- just look for where the water is spraying! -- but difficult to address. For my unit, the leak was at the housing seal -- a 5-6" rubber o-ring. The unit was manufactured poorly and the seal was pinched and damaged beyond use when they put it together at the factory. The product includes a bag of replacement seals, but this is not one that is included. No worries, I thought, they gave me a customer service email address! The email address provided doesnt exist and the email was promptly kicked back. Surely I just mistyped the address -- unfortunately no. I searched around online and found another email address to contact Newtry to see if I could get a replacement seal. That email has been left unanswered for about a week -- they claim in their packaging that they will respond within 24 hours. With the leaking housing the unit is unusable. Luckily I purchased through Amazon and knew I could rely on Amazon's stellar customer service to replace the pump. It's silly to replace the whole unit when a single o-ring would have sufficed. If you are mounting your injector permanently (or semi-permanently in my case), be cautious. Consider leaving enough room around the unit to take it apart and use swiveling pipe thread connections so it can be easily removed.

Works great
Bought this to fertilize my lawn after spending what seemed like forever with the hose end siphon sprayer. Seems to work just fine. Installation was easy, I just mounted it to my concrete foundation wall with the bracket included. No leaks this far. I am using a 5 gallon jug to premix my fertilizer and then have it set for 1%. I haven’t done any calibration other than measuring the flow rate coming out of my sprinkler with a drywall bucket. Based on my 3.6 gpm flow rate it seems to be drawing down in the jug at the rate I would expect. My only issue I may need to work on is adding a better filter. I’m using unfiltered water from my well, and I’ve had to check the inlet filter on my check valve. That had nothing to do with this device, just saying that buying a larger filter is probably a good idea. I think I will a big blue filter to the arrangement so as to get good flow without cleaning often.

Accurate and good price
I’d give it a 5 but for the damaged ring. Came on time easy install. It’s to replace the lousy American ones we can’t get parts for. Thought we’d try this as it’s 1/10 the price of the American ones and they only last one season. Terrible seems worse every year and over $1500 a unit !!!! After hookup it struggled a bit but then quit. Little annoyed. Decided to take it apart and found the bottom ring was damaged I guess during assembly. Nice they included replacements. Put a new one one and so far so good. Asked for a replacement ring so we will see. We have gone though so many of the super dos and the price is ridiculous now parts are more than the whole unit and no parts available. If we get a season out of these we are happy. If we get more it’s a bonus. We run big greenhouses and can’t wait weeks of months of growing season to get parts. I look at the big pile of dead super dos and can’t believe the money wasted. I’d sooner keep a couple of these in stock.

Will not sell replacement seals
Eventually this pump will wear out the seals inside and they will need to be replaced. At that point your injectors is a paper weight because, while they absolutely make replacement seals they don’t sell them on Amazon.. Honestly, I thought the pump was great but I use it a lot. The seals provided did not last the full season and now this pump is garbage because they won’t sell basic product maintenance parts. For that reason alone I would not buy again and I would not recommend to anyone either. Spend your money with a company that will ensure you can get basic parts so that their products will last more than a few months.
