An important upgrade for a Chromebook
I never knew you could have a wired connection on a Chromebook but this makes it possible for a direct ethernet connection which then hugely improves the speed of working on a Chromebook. It was plug and play- no special set up needed and remains stable as the laptop is opened/closed. Particularly useful if you are streaming live sport to Chromebook as a second screen.

Superb for hardwiring yo your hub.
Managed to lock myself out of wifi and used this to directly connect to the hub, so as to access the settings - life saver! Connection was seamless, with superfast download speed. Would recommend.

The Ethernet adapter works perfectly and is currently plugged into my laptop with a mouse using the only USB port. The USB-C connection is very snug but not too tight to crape, just requires a bit of a grip - hence -1 star... otherwise it would be 5

The usb c connection is very snug so care has to taken when connecting to device. Reliable fast speeds. So far so good

Nicely designed, attractive, aluminum body with smoothly finished polycarbonate end caps/detailing. Adapter works as advertised. Better quality RJ45 clip connector than I was expecting for the price.

Ethernet speed is not compromised
I bought another, an all-in-one. the USB side of it worked fine but the Ethernet speed was unacceptable. This one however, although only for Ethernet works very well. Very happy with the speed up and down.

Habe den Adapter an einem Lenovo Laptop. Einmal angesteckt hat er sofort tadellos funktioniert und das ohne jegliche Einstellungen. Perfekt.

Fonctionne comme prévu
Je m'en sert comme pont LTE vers Ethernet depuis mon cellulaire quand il y a une panne du service câblé. Je le branche dans l'entrée du router wifi et j'ai l'internet partout dans la maison.
