Great keyboard, magnetic hold, comes with a protective case, and great battery life! I loe this for typing on my iPad and it hold the pencil which charges as usual with the case. The BT connection is really easy, battery life is great (usbC), and the case is really solid and stays up nicely. It has a really nice quality feel to it and I've had lots of compliments, though many think it's the Appel version lol! The white case does get a little grubby (in my life!) but can be easily wiped. Material feels really robust. Th eonly slight downside is that it is fairly heavy - so I often use a slimmer simple case for day to day, and use this when I know I've got meetings and a lot of typing. Worth it if you do a lot of typing. The bonus is that the ipad goes into a sort of phone case which then magnetically attaches to the case - so if you do want to take it off to use on its own you can keep the case on for protection (though it won't stand on its own). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic keyboard *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 February 2026* I've started using this today, arrived last night. It's really heavy in comparison to the iPad, easily twice the iPad's weight. Makes the iPad feel more like a laptop which is fine for when the keyboard is attached. Being able to remove it and still have a case attached is genius. Great move ESR...Keyboard is decent, more key travel than the last Magic Keyboard I used but I like this, it feels like you are actually typing, the Magic Keyboard just feels weird when typing due to the minimal key travel.Setup is really simple, no video required. It connects via Bluetooth and works as described. Gestures work really nicely which making switching in between MacBook and iPad a breeze, same gestures and operation.This is exactly what I wanted, I can't recommend this keyboard enough, if you can get past the weight then it's a fantastic alternative to the Magic Keyboard from Apple, cheaper too. Another great product from ESR.Update: After 2 months use, the hinge is starting to feel really tight, the whole stand falls over backwards of the iPad is lifted all the way up.
