This detergent works well and has a nice light scent. I use this as my main detergent because almost all of my clothes are black, and I do think it’s better than using regular detergent. It gets clothes clean without leaving a heavy fragrance behind and fading isn’t an issue when you wash in cold water. The only downside is the price, because it’s not the cheapest, but overall I think it’s worth it.

I even splurged — on sale, of course — for nicer cuts and fabrics because I finally trusted they’d last. Case in point: five Theory tees I bought in 2021 are still essentially 100% black. Five years and they haven’t betrayed me. For someone who once treated tees like consumables, that’s unheard of. If you live in dark clothes and hate watching them fade, Woolite Darks Defense is worth it. Follow the wash-and-dry routine and you’ll start keeping tees you actually want to keep wearing.

You may think because its good with darks and colors it may not be as good as the others.....guess what? The clothes come out nicer, softer and great color and its reasonably priced.

No, no es barato, pero conserva el color mejor que cualquier otro producto que he probado, también es un buen jabón en el sentido de que no es agresivo con lo tejidos. No tiene pigmento… también probé usar colorantes para ropa en conjunto con el detergente y sólo que se usara el colorante cada vez que se hace el lavado, se podría tener un resultado más eficiente, pero aceptando que en ocasiones el color puede variar.

I’m very happy with this detergent. It’s perfect for keeping my black jeans and dark work clothes from fading over time. Unlike standard soaps, it’s extremely gentle on the fabric and leaves everything feeling soft, rather than stiff. It also has a nice, clean scent that isn't too overpowering. Definitely my new go-to for laundry day to keep my wardrobe looking fresh
