Mine is not at all magnetic but sticky - which worked a few times but now it just slides down the iPad, making it more or less useless unfortunately. The previous magnetic privacy filter I used (Kensington, with my Mac) had a definitive 'snap' every time and it never got tired.

Magnetic cover with minimal contact on the screen which didn't fit properly. Made worse when using a cover for the IPad in that the protector bubbled and didn't make contact with the IPad. Poorly designed and ended up in the trash.
