Jameson SB-16TE 16-inch Barracuda Tri-Cut Replacement Blade for Pole and Hand Saws

I used this blade on my Corona pole pruner. The mounting holes lines up, but since it's a universal blade, it partially blocks the opening of the rope pulled lopper. I will grind off the excess part. It worked well pruning several very high branches off of my oak trees.

Good blade. Cuts are clean and quick. Can't comment on the durability.

Extremely sharps.Cuts thick branches with almost no effort . Didn't fit second hole in Fiskar pole,so I drilled one of the holes from the blade to the fiskar hook.Put a screw and nut from Harbor freight.Works just fine.

My extended pole saw blade was dull (original) and swapping this with it made the pole saw just slice through tree limbs. Way sharper than the original and I'd suggest putting this blade on a new pole saw as the quality of this blade is so much better than a new pole saw's cheap blade.

Review categories are a bit ahead of themselves. I have no idea regarding durability. I bought this because one reviewer mentioned that it fit Fiskars pole saw. I believe it fits the newer edition but mine is 20 years old and it simply doesn't fit. I plan to machine it down to make it fit because I'm kind of excited about a saw that cuts both ways. Most pole saw blades cut only on the pull stroke. So I have not used it but it looks pretty fierce. Be careful about the fit, of course that's my issue because the manufacturer states that it only fits their product. To my knowledge, Fiskars doesn't offer a blade that cuts in both directions. However Fiskars blades are far cheaper and I recently bought a complete cutting head attachment for right around $20 which also includes a new blade which cuts great in comparison to the older blade (duh)

I absolutely love my Jameson pole pruner. It gets a lot of use on my property back in the woods. The time finally came for a new replacement blade, and it arrived quickly, just in time to swap out the old one and take care of some branches overhanging my driveway that large delivery trucks and the fire department aren't a fan of.

Cuts well,but certainly not for commercial use.
