**Q: how often should you feed koi and gold fish**
A: Depends on the time of year.  The water temp should be 50 degrees or warmer and the fish active.  From 50 to around 60, once every other day is enough.  60+ generally once a day, and in the summer, when water temps are typically in the upper 60s and 70s, twice a day.  If the weather is really hot though, cut back to once a day and increase aeration or filtration.
