I did get some on my fingers and it washed off. **Q: are they glittery?** A: The Tutti Frutti pens are not. However, the "Yummy Yummy Scented Glitter Gel Pens" are (and they are scented like assorted fruits, the caps of which show the fruit scent. Also, the "Set of Super Duper Scented Gel Pens" contains 12 glitter pens (plus 6 neon, 6 pastel). I found the glitter and neons are the best -- a couple of my pastel shades don't lay down ink evenly.
