Mountain Warehouse Grasmere Mens Softshell Jacket - Warm Soft Shell Black Small

This is a pretty nice jacket for the price, I really like it but I returned it because zipper is opposite of the usual men’s styles. If you don’t mind that then I think it’s a great economic choice.

Overall a very nice, comfortable and durable jacket, feels very premium and a good fit, although I would normally choose a medium, (I’m a 41 chest) I went for small and it is a perfect fit for me, snug to my upper body with a base layer and comfortable under my Regatta Hydrafort waterproof jacket. The only minor gripe I have with this jacket are the cuffs being adjusted with a Velcro strip which tend to snag at the edge as the Velcro doesn’t go all the way to the end of the strap so sticks out from the cuff. That aside it’s a well made, durable and very smart looking jacket which I think will last for years to come.

Die Jacke ist vom Stoff her relativ dick und daher auch ziemlich steif. Das wirkt sich auch auf den Stehkragen aus, der sich nur schwer umlegen lässt, und so stoßen bei geringer Öffnung der Jacke die Ecken in die Halspartie. Die Ärmel passen von der Länge, sind aber im Bund relativ weit. Sie lassen sich zwar mit Klettbändern verengen, doch leidet dann der Tragekomfort.
