Die 40-Jahr-alten Boxen aus meiner Jugend (RFT BR50) machen damit einen guten Klang zum TV. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by T***M on 6 April 2024* I wanted something to serve as amplification for my TV without having to resort to the bulkiness of a traditional A/V receiver and loads of speakers, that could also serve as amplification for other sources (like streaming from my phone or maybe for connecting a turntable to, for example). There isn't much at a reasonable price that can be HDMI ARC-connected unless you like sound bars, & while they have their place I wanted .... well, more. Then I found this, the Arylic B50. It arrives in a smart little box which contains all you need to get it up & running, plus there's a very handy phone app that seems to work very well too. It has so far connected to everything I've asked it too without a single glitch or problem, and it works spot-on via HDMI from my TV which turns this amp on from standby as it should every time without fail. Used as TV amplification alone it is really very good indeed and provides far better stereo separation than the mid-range sound bar I was using before. There's a subwoofer out port on this amp if that's your thing but in all honesty with the speakers I'm using it has plenty bass as it is for my needs. I've streamed FLAC music to this too and I have to say that you need better ears than mine to tell any difference in sound quality between this and the £1k+ worth of kit that I use in another room with the same speakers. It's not perfect though, & no reasonable person would expect that from a little amp at this sort of budget. The toggle switch for on & off is a matter of personal taste that I don't much care for as one example. Getting to grips with Bluetooth receive & transmit on this can be fun too, although at least (so far) it reconnects to things you've connected to before without problems. On a positive note though there's also an Arylic form which seems to be reasonably well populated with users offering advice and their experiences, which could be helpful. Firmware updates for this amp seem regular too; this one arrived with firmware V50 installed & there's apparently a V59 available, but since this is working just fine I might leave it as it is. For a while at least. It's early days for me and this Arylic B50, but so far this has done everything I have asked of it and it's done it all very well at that.
