Bad a$$ little unit
If you skeptical as to whether or not this will weld let me clear it up for you right now. I just made an entire wall of windows at my guest house using 1/8 inch angle iron. I use the angle iron as the frames for the windows which were fitted in using windshield urethane. Anyway, this little thing welded the 8th inch angle iron- made of steel by the way- like it was aluminum foil. Those welds are so strong. You can’t even tell that it’s welded after I did a little grinding. As a first time welder, I can say that it took a little bit of a learning curve, but after a few YouTube videos this little baby did the job and I’m so glad I decided to do it instead of hiring somebody else. It’s super easy to use, very lightweight, works really well and in general is just a nice little unit. Don’t be afraid of welding anymore with products like this! Just give it a try. for less than 40 bucks You can’t really go wrong.

Handy little unit that gets the job done
Its a good little unit. I wouldn't want to start a mobile business with this thing. Not the best on the market by any stretch but for what I need and as often as I need a welder this is perfect. Its super compact, lunch box size, so it's easy to store. Being 110v I have run it off an extension cord when needed. Even used it off a generator once repairing a plow. And its my favorite color!

Well worth it
Considering how inexpensive and small and lightweight this welder is, it works great. The hood and gloves are worthless, but the machine is why we all buy it. After receiving it, I promptly hooked it up and tried it out. Plenty of power to burn small rods.....it will do about anything someone would need to do around the home. For 36 bucks, it more than delivers. I'm a retired welder, so I had a good hood and other gear, if you don't, just go pick up an inexpensive hood somewhere.

The items that come with it!
The protective gloves are cheaply made and so called helmet is cheaply made ! U would think something so dangerous should be come at least with real somewhat product for protecting the face and hands till the person who bought this product can afford gloves and a expensive helmet.. and more sticks to work with ..the sticks melt fast and easy there was only 5 🤦♀️ But love the product its was easy and workable and perfect size for me bcuz i barely weld so works for me

What a big surprise in a little package
I was skeptical when I opened the box. I read the reviews and looked at the product photos along with other buyer photos a number of times before purchasing. I needed a stick welder that did not weigh 100 pounds. Well this little welder fit that. It is light weight and small. My first thought was this little “toy” is not gonna work. LOL! Well, I am shocked and amazed. It was packed really well and with no damage. I hooked up the leads, found a scrap piece of 5/16” steel angle iron. Installed one of the provided rods, suited up and struck an arc. No Way! It is NOT a Toy! I ran through all of provided rods and could not wait to let you know how good this thing is. Very easy to setup , adjust, and use. Varied the amp setting from 21 to 156 A (does adjust higher) on the dial to see how the rod, arc and puddle reacted. Results were as I expected. I have not verified the amp settings to see how close the dial and actual readings with my tester are. It seems close. I don’t use a welder every day so am curious how long it will hold up to use. Next run will be with 6011/6013/7018 rods. Make sure you connect the electrode holder and ground clamp correctly for the type welding you need. The gloves, slag hammer and face shield are of lower value. They will work but Find a better hammer, brush, gloves, and helmet for better results and better safety. Remember, this is NOT a toy and can cause burns and the arc will injure your eyes. Safety first. The power cord is short and the lead wires are short compared to my MIG but the unit is small and light enough to get it close to your work. Will update after more use. Thanks for this little gem! Happy welding.

Bad welds, low quality, still functional though
There are many things with this product that could have been better. It's design is lightweight and portable. You can take it almost anywhere and use it for various close quarters welding spaces. I used it to weld my exhaust system under my car. Here's were the three stars come into play. The quality overall is lacking. I had to replace the ground clamp within a week due to its falling off completely. I've welded many things in my time and never had I had to struggle to get a decent weld. while it will do some extremely low quality in a pinch type of welds. It's certainly not my main choice in welding equipment. It was low cost and got the job sort of done.

$40 we’ll spent!
I’m used to buying “offshore” cheap crap and getting what I paid for. But this might be the best $40 I’ve ever spent(I already had a good auto dimming helmet). I have fought my HF wire feed welder for years and it just doesn’t deliver. But this thing? I burned straight through 1/8” steel in seconds. I even butted two angle iron pieces, welded with no bracing, and tried to break it. Nope, just bent the metal. Absolutely incredible. If it holds up I will be very very pleased.
