On January 19, 2023 the Bluevua RO100ROPOT-LITE Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System arrived. My wife and I had used a reverse osmosis system in our previous residence, and we couldn't live without it. I did some research and discovered this countertop option. We've used it daily, and the filter that came with the unit still has not been replaced. We are down to 1 bar so it appears it will last a year, as advertised. Also when you fill the water tank you may be tempted to fill more than 2 carafes, but do not do this because the 3rd carafe will be what's been flushed and needs to be dumped. Lately, the water has had a bad taste, and to be honest I have not kept track towards when the bad taste began. We didn't even want to drink the water eventually, and last weekend I hopped onto my computer to find out why it tasted bad when there was still more life on the filter. I discovered that Bluevua has a descaling kit that is essential maintenance for optimal water quality. The kit comes with 2 packets, and they are made from natural and biodegradable ingredients. Descaling the reverse osmosis system removes mineral and limescale build up, and the water tastes so much cleaner. In discovering the Bluevua Descaling Kit, I also noticed Bluevua Dual-Pack Remineralization Filters. When I purchased the unit a friend of ours told us that we would lose the minerals so that has been a concern while using reverse osmosis systems. The city water is far from being drinkable, and buying water at the store is costly so we've been losing out on those important minerals. The remineralization filters provide natural minerals so you'll be getting your Ca (Calcium), K (Potassium), Mg (Magnesium), Na (Sodium), and Zn (Zinc). My wife and I agree that this is the best water we've ever had after installing this filter. We'll be using it multiple times daily, and during our travels to prevent the build-up of toxins we'll just wrap it up in plastic wrap and place it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator as directed in the included manual as it needs to be used at least every 48 hours. Purchasing these items for the Bluevua RO100ROPOT-LITE will both save you money and help towards a healthier lifestyle. Just don't make the same mistake that I did. Every 6 months you will want to descale the unit, and when doing so it's time to change the remineralization filter as well.

These have worked fine to alkalinize my drinking water after I purify it with the ROPOT.

Makes the water taste so much better! Filter speed is reasonable! Super easy installation, the quality is awesome for a countertop RO system! Water capacity is good, really quiet cycle system. Great for a small apartment!

Love the mineral filter. It makes the water taste even better than without. And I love this water and I love this machine that makes it. One of the best purchases I’ve made this year!

Loving my Bluevua, but I've been noticing flavor of water is sometimes bitter with the Remineralization Filter. Bought two different pH meters. One showed pH at 9.4 (non USA) and the other (USA made) showed 8.5. Without the Filter and just pure RO water, both show 7.2. This isn't going to stop me from using this brand, but I would hope in the future Bluevua can figure out a way to not make the pH go up so high. I've been doing a mixture of half pure RO and half with the mineral filter which tastes noticeably better. Update - after doing some testing, I’ve come to the conclusion that the longer the mineral filter sits without being used, the first carafe will have a high pH. After about an hour of non use, the pH on the first carafe was 8.5. Doing a second run immediately following yielded an pH of 7.7. Overnight sitting in the refrigerator, the next day a pH of 9.5 was detected in the first carafe. After the second run, the pH came down to 8.0. Still love and will continue to use my Bluevua. This seems like an unavoidable problem that could possibly affect other brands. Hopefully this information will serve as a warning to other users as 9.5 is a little high to drink. Do one full carafe run first after an hour of non use.
