I bought the SP-120-240-RL/Concealed Model (home protector). It’s rated for 120/240 volts, but they forgot to mention that it’s not compatible with a European home electrical system running at 240 volts. I only found this out from the documentation that came with the product. Until an EMP actually occurs, I have no reason to doubt the quality of EMP Shield products. However, the technical information is a disaster—incomplete and therefore misleading! It amounts to nothing more than marketing information repeated over 10 times and a bunch of irrelevant details. Take, for example: the EMP Shield Whole Home Generator EMP Shielding and Lightning Protection for Residential Use. It states that the product is a four-stroke engine with 418 cc. Output power: 120 watts. What? A 120-watt generator? Do they mean a bicycle dynamo? Nowhere can you find meaningful details about the generator’s rated output voltage.
