Cord perfectly connects my mac mini and monitor. It's a great length (and I really appreciated that it comes in multiple lengths). It is 1000x better than the cord that came with my monitor. I experience no lag, the connection fits snugly (that was the biggest problem with my previous cord...it kept coming loose). The cord feels heavy duty, so I have no worries about needing to replace it soon. Overall, this is a great value, and I'd highly recommend it!

I only write reviews when I’m dissatisfied or extremely impressed with a product. This one I’m extremely impressed. I was running what I thought was a high-quality HDMI cable on my Xbox X. However, I was getting frequent periods of the screen going black for 5 to 10 seconds at a time. I initially thought this was an Internet speed issue. After much research, I learned that it was a rendering issue with the HDMI cable. I bought the Silkland ultra high-speed cable and the difference was exponentially better. The image quality was immediately noticeable and I no longer have blackout periods when it’s trying to render the picture. Highly recommend. 👍🏼

It's a good cable. Works great for my secondary monitor. Great value. Install was simple. Strong cable. You can tell that your cord won't get easily bent because of the shielding.

I recently built a new home theater using 8 Klipsch speakers, a Denon AV receiver, and a Samsung 85 inch QLED TV. Everything looks and sounds amazing. However, the eARC channel between the TV and the AV receiver would not work correctly. I initially tried 3 different brand new HDMI cables from various manufacturers. All 3 of the cables "claim" to be certified HDMI 2.1 with ethernet, and will run 8k video and eARC. However, in reality none of the 3 HDMI cables would work correctly. Either the TV could not detect the AV receiver, or when it did the sound would cut out intermittently on the left and right channels when a connection was actually made. Also, the highest video resolution I could get was 1080p @ 120hz. I tried doing all of the TV/receiver resets, power down, and unplug and remove the HDMI cable tricks, and nothing would fix the HDMI eARC connection issues. All I could get was 1080p @ 120hz resolution and sound through the AV receiver only, unless I used the internal TV speakers when watching OTA antenna signals. That's not very good sounding, if you know what I mean. I initially thought, so much for having eARC and high resolution capabilities, and I resorted to using a digital optical sound cable between the TV and AV receiver for about 2 weeks. This worked fine for OTA TV sound, but I still had no eARC or HDMI control between the AV receiver and the connected peripheral devices. After 2 weeks of this "minor inconvenience," I figured what the heck, let's try one more HDMI cable brand. That's when I purchased this 6.6 foot Silkland HDMI cable. As soon as Amazon delivered this Silkland HDMI cable, I unpacked it and plugged it in between the TV and AV receiver. Wow, what an immediate difference. As soon as I turned eARC and HDMI control back on in the AV receiver, the TV and receiver communicated, and the eARC connection was completed. I now have perfect eARC functionality, 4k @ 120hz video, and total HDMI control of all of the peripheral devices. This Silkland HDMI cable works so well that I purchased 2 more Silkland HDMI cables to use to connect the Roku Ultra and Sony Blu-Ray player with. The turntable is connected to the AV receiver via RCA cables, so no HDMI cable is necessary for that connection. Needless to say, I am very impressed with these Silkland HDMI cables. They actually function as advertised, and do it very well. Honestly, I have not tried viewing anything with 8k resolution yet, so I cannot attest to those claims. However, these Silkland HDMI cables work perfectly for my specific A/V requirements. Just be aware that these are thickly shielded, well made HDMI cables, which makes them a bit stiff if any tight turns need to be made.

Excellent looking and functioning cable, it solved my HDMI handshake issues. I now have all Silkland for all of my gaming/TV/Soundbar needs. The braided cable is very strong and seems as though it will last a long time.

I ordered this cable as a replacement for the Highwings cable that's way too loose in my Macbook's HDMI port. This Silkland cable at least has some friction and is definitely better than the other, still not ideal though. I have decided to use the USB-C instead, so I am returning this cable. I am writing this as an FYI for people who are buying this for their Macbook, though I can see these are high quality cables and will work well in other situations.

I have been using this cable for connectivity between a RTX 4080 and recently RTX 5080 and an older LG C9 65" tv. This establishes at 4k 120Hz just fine, as well as allows audio (including Dolby) through HDMI. I list it as working 95% of the time. Why only 95%? Every once in a while / every few days, if I shut the TV off or allow the TV signal to go into power save mode (via PC Power settings) without powering down the PC, the devices do not fully re-establish a handshake together and my PC either bluescreens to restart, or just the graphics driver crashes and restarts causing a delay for the screen to "come back". This occurred with 2 completely different PCs (one intel, one AMD processor - with graphics cards listed above). I tried a more expensive recommended cable and it wasn't even this stable. Therefore, I think this was a great buy and would 100% purchase again.

I dont know if you can see it or not, im too lazy to take proper pictures. But the cable works till now and it is really thick (nylon). It is easy to use and worth the money.

Having recently upgraded to a new TV and surround sound system, I started noticing glitches in both the picture and sound when using my 4K UHD Blu-ray player and PS5. I didn’t spend all that money to be getting a less than perfect audiovisual experience! It turned out that the old HDMI cables I was using were no longer up to the task of handling the high-bandwidth data transfer between my various equipment. After considering various options, I realised that although it was important to have HDMI 2.1 standard cables for my current and future needs, there was no reason to pay a premium price for good performance. I decided to try these Silkland HDMI cables as they have a lot of good ratings and reviews on Amazon and were available in a variety of lengths. The cables arrived in durable but easy to open packaging. I have found the braided construction of the cables to be sturdy and resistant to wear, while the HDMI connectors are well-made and fit securely into all of my devices. The cables are sufficiently flexible to allow me to loop them through the back of my TV stand and to daisy chain my Blu-ray through my sound system and into the EARC HDMI port of my TV. For my setup, I found that the 1 metre cables were perfect for shorter connections, while a 2 metre one is useful for connecting my PS5 which is on its own stand so is a bit further away from the TV. Since installing the Silkland cables, my viewing and listening experience has been excellent. The 4K UHD Blu-ray picture looks flawless even when using higher bandwidth features like HDR or Dolby Vision. Dolby Atmos sound is now as it should be and my PS5 can now output at a smooth 120Hz frame rate without upsetting my TV. There are so many HDMI cables of various brands on the market that it is hard to be sure whether these Silkland ones are the best of all the options. But they have performed flawlessly and my picture and sound quality are now perfect, with no glitches. I’ve relegated the old cables to the TV in my spare bedroom! Top marks from me for this excellent low-priced quality product. Highly recommended.
