Good practice ball
While it is an official size ball, don't assume it will officially handle an official game. You do pay for what you get. The laces are plastic (unlike the 1701 or 1705 versions where the laces match the pigskin/composite leather). Overall, for just practice or throwing the ball around, it's fine. It's until you use it for a game is where it will probably start falling apart. Keep in mind to NEVER over-inflate, as it will put stress on the seams really easily (more so of the composite leather not stitched well and the inner bladder isn't really supported. The football shape is a lot more pointy on the ends compared to other models, so this will probably give a better and more accurate flight with less loft. I haven't noticed that much of a difference yet since I don't have a cannon for an arm, but we will do some research with it. For the price itself compared to official game balls, this is a good buy for practice.

Not the Wilson quality I remember
I have owned many footballs. I am in my 30's so the footballs I own are pretty much relegated to beach tossing and park tossing. The grip on this ball is amazing. Super tacky and I loved it. Now the down side. The ball did not hold air. It was fine for the day I would toss it, but I was always have to fill it up before the beach. Even if I was using it within a couple days. The really bad part was the needle hole got pushed into the ball on the fifth or sixth fill up. The needle hole is now misaligned and has got so bad I cannot fill the ball up anymore and it is rendered useless after maybe ten uses. I am hoping spending a little more will get me a better made football. I may have been unlucky and got a bad one, but I am just stating my experience. I think I am going to try another brand. Kind of a shame since every football I have owned I am pretty sure has been a Wilson.

Wrong size and different product
If by youth size you are looking for a football for a young person this may be ok with you. I was looking for a "youth" size football. I ordered 7 of them to use for my team. I coach a group of kids that fall between the "junior" and "youth" size age wise but I wanted the larger youth size to get them more used to what they would transition to after leaving my program. The product was delivered and I opened it to find 7 junior footballs. They also are not the footballs pictured here. They are wilson ncaa supreme footballs. Wilson has a very similar product with the NCAA logo that I bought in the peewee size 3 years ago that was fantastic and they are still going strong after serious use. They are 5$ more but I thought I was getting that for a good deal. Looking at these the composite isn't nearly as nice. (still good for the 15$ I paid) If I knew I was going to be shipped the wrong size and a different product than shown I would have gone to my local Dcsporting goods store to get them and paid the 20. As it is I'm sure it isn't worth paying the return shipping and my season is starting and I can't wait to get the problem fixed. I shouldn't have relied on my prime to procrastinate my order. Still a good football for 15$ as long as you want a Junior and not the youth they are listing.

Training Camp
As mentioned in several other comments on various sporting equipment i have purchased, these were purchased to assist my son and his team for Flag Football practice. I have had these for about 3 months now and all three that i have purchased are starting to form a bubble at the seam area. Being that the price of these were reasonable you would expect a little more life out of the footballs. Also, being that it is a Wilson product, you would expect a much better quality item.

Not Impressed- Football was frayed
I ordered this football for my 9-year old son, as it is the perfect size for him to practice in the backyard with his dad. I was so disappointed when we got it. It was frayed on the ends, and the material felt like it had a cheap wax coat over it. Also the ties weren't completely placed correctly. Needless to say, we shipped it back right away, and went with a better, slightly more expensive brand. The few extra dollars was worth the hassle. I defiantly wouldn't recommend this.

Poorly made football
In less than a month after receiving this football for his birthday (my grandson) - the ball came apart at a seam and the bladder became exposed, causing the ball to be unuseable, we are now working with the manufacturer to receive a warranty replacement - the freight to return the item for warranty has now added another $7.00 to the purchase price, and we're not sure if it will be replaced - recommend spend a little more, and get a better ball.

Looks to be very nice
Wife and I sponsored two homeless children this year, and bought them a bunch of items that they needed (school supplies, sporting equipment for exercise, and clothing). This is one of the items each child received. This football actually looked to be pretty nice when we opened the box. If I was a kid, I'd want to go out and throw it around.
