Japanese Kanji Made Easy: An Easy Step-By-Step Workbook to Learn More Japanese Kanji (JLPT N4)

Easy to use, don't be worried about practising the Kanji writing in the book, that is what it is for. However I would rcommend buying a) tracing paper so you can practise using a pen or brush b) buying a kanji paper writing book. The more you practise the strokes the more you remember the Kanji. The audio files are really good and the Q and A helps you gain confidence in the language.

I bought this book for my 15-year-old daughter, who was struggling to transition from Hiragana and Katakana to Japanese Kanji. Its step-by-step, user-friendly approach simplifies the learning process, making Kanji much easier to understand and remember. So convenient and a good addition to the first book. Very helpful in learning the order of strokes and practicing to write kanji in general. I could recognize some kanji before, but would have a hard time to write it from memory and thus book really helped me with that.

This book follows on from the first Japanese kanji made easy book. This one covers N4 level Kanji. The thought of learning kanji can be a bit intimidating, but this book really helps break it down into manageable chunks. It is nicely laid out, and I like how the Kanji are grouped into sections such as family and transportation. There are sections for writing practice, including diagrams showing stroke order, as well as lots of exercises to test what you learn. There are accompanying audio files which you can download as well. I definitely recommend this book as well as the previous N5 level book for beginners who want to to take the next step after mastering hiragana and katakana.

I have tried to learn kanji for a while now and this book has really helped me in many ways. The lessons are based around a group of kanji e.g. Family members, seasons and nature which aids in memorising them. There is plenty of practice in all aspects; writing, reading and listening. The exercises are at different levels so I could work through them as I felt I was ready. If you are contemplating JLPT 4 then this book is for you. If, like me, you are just studying Japanese for your own interest then I can also recommend this book but start with the JLPT 5 one first.

I received this book recently and would absolutely recommend it. It's well organised and suited for N4, it also comes with additional resources such as audio excercises via their site. It's different from other kanji books I've used because it contains lots of extra excercises, you get to practice reading and writing and listening, the book is very helpful and while it provides around 200 kanji the value is centred around the additional sections. It also provides correct stroke order for the kanji which helps me personally. I have used lingo mastery books previously such as their short story's and I recommend giving them a try :)

The bookm is well laid out and gives plenty of opportunity to practice your Kanji writing. I think it's still worthwhile to also have some sheets or a book of just Kanji practice paper so you can write out your Kanji as many times as you like. Much like the other books in this series it had audio files and sections to help test your knowledge which helps to further cement your knowledge and understanding. Really happy with this book and all books generally in this series. I'm always on the lookout for other ones.

Excellent book for learning Japanese kanji! As a Japanese teacher, I have used this book with my students, and it has worked very well. It is designed to help learners prepare for the JLPT N4, and the lessons are clear and easy to follow. The book includes many illustrations and fun characters that make studying more enjoyable and engaging. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their kanji skills and prepare for the JLPT N4.

I really like how, aside from teaching the correct way to write the kanji (important to those just starting or those like me who taught themselves to write them wrong) and giving cultural notes on the themes it covers, the book offers lots of exercises helping us learn to recognize and use the characters and their elements as well as compound words and sentences in a written text, spoken word and pictures. The book is easy to use even if you aren't native in English.

Me encantó ! La verdad es que está más grande de lo que esperaba, no vi descripción del tamaño, pero en mi caso es mejor ya que la letra está de muy bien tamaño y además de ejercicios prácticos de Kanji tiene actividades de opción múltiple y poco más

I have bought Lingo Mastery's books before because I really like the way they simplify Japanese learning (even more considering how different it is from English), so I got this one as soon as it was released. Now that I have spent some time using it, I can say that this book not only teaches you the order of the strokes to write the kanji, but it has a lot of exercises where you can apply that earned knowledge! I love the dynamics and definitely recommend this one for those studying for N4 :)
