Live

Absolutely one of my all time favorite albums. Every song rocks. Delivery was on time and cd was in excellent shape.

It is a good live Lp, I only wish it was longer. Foghat had a ton of hits...

I was so happy to see this classic on cd, the last time I owned and listened to it I had it on cassette (remember those), Foghat Live rocks like your girlfriend did in the backseat in '77, the only thing wrong, just 6 songs, but they all kicked major ass, especially Slow Ride and Fool for the City, this cd is right up there with other 70's "Live" cd's like Frampton Comes Alive, Cheap Trick at Budokan (later released in the complete concert form, just like Foghat Live should be), Ted Nugent Double Live Gonzo, Aerosmith Live Bootleg, Kiss Alive and Rush, All the Worlds a Stage amongst others, if your a classic rock fanatic like I am, Foghat Live is a must have, it will take you back to '77, throwing back a 6 pack and smoking "maryjane" with your girl with her panties at her ankles and the car windows getting steamed up as the car bounces........hehehehhehehe.

Great live recording, however I had hoped the extended LIVE version of Slowride was on this, and it wasn't. That version is on the album where the band member is sitting in the street on the front cover. But still love me some Foghat. How is this band not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, what a disgrace!

FOGHAT "live" this is one of the very best live albums of all time, This is purely for fans of foghat, who remember what it was like to hear some of foghats classic tunes in a live setting,when I was 12 years old I saw foghat open for Black Sabbath and I'll never forget how great foghat was mostly due to ozzy's mic problems but I was hooked,And went out and bought foghat live as well as fool for the city, and even now with guitar hero and a dozen classic 70's movies you can still hear foghat's classic Slow Ride, what are you waiting for go out and get it and hear it for yourself, Live get it on amazon.com

God how I remember this pure blues & boogie band... What is sad is their record company only gave them a small budget to work with and they only recorded the songs that they thought the fans wanted to here. This band for me was right up there with the best. Maybe one day they will release a full non stop full concert from the original line up... RG

Je l'avais en vinyle depuis peut-être 40 ans et la en cd pour le plaisir et dire qu avant ce vinyle passait en boîte c était trop bien cette époque punaise ça fout les boules je l'écoute encore avec plaisir alors acheté le sans hésiter

個人的な区分けですが、私の７０年代３大ハード・ブギ・バンドは、このフォガットと、ＺＺトップそしてＡＣ／ＤＣ（その時の気分でＢＴＯやステイタス・クォー、グランドホッグスになることもあり）です。 私にはＺＥＰやパープル等の所謂ハードロックやロックンロール・バンドよりも、ブギ・ウギのような細かい反復の多い、立て揺れリフ＆リズムが合うので、今だによく聴いています。 このファガットというバンドは、繰り返しが多くてやや単調な気もしますが、ＺＺやＡＣ／ＤＣ同様にいったん聞き始めるとやめられなくなります。そのくらい繰り返しの魔力があります。 演奏も堅実で良いです。とにかくこの果てるとも尽きぬブギ・ウギ天国を全身で受け止めて欲しいですね。長いギターソロとかヴォーカル・パフォーマンスとか、この種の快楽常習犯のための音楽には、不要でしょう。
