I have no complaints about this system except that from time to time when restarting the device your back lighting maybe off and it'll take some time for it to get back on. It's incredibly lightweight and very powerful. It works really well as a reasonably priced PC gaming handheld. It's light enough that if you have joint issues with your wrists or arms you can use it very easily. It's got enough power to play high-end games given that you make sure you're using the right settings.

My absolute favorite gaming mini handheld PC ever. 5/5. Claw 7ai+ is super great !!! Dragon ball gekinshin squadra on this thing is amazing!!! The PC is super fast for msi claw 7 ai + Love it so much yay !!! Battery seems decent but could be better. I didn't want the claw 8 so my problem there because the 8 has a slightly bigger battery. Otherwise a very decent handheld gaming PC at the least. Light weight and easy to hold overall. I paid $900 and that's new with tax. It's a great value overall for the money spent. The way it does function on wifi 6 and on windows 11 is truly great. It's the fastest handheld I've ever had. Much better than the switch 2. Very happy with the purchase. I've had this handheld for a little over a year now and im still obsessed with it. It handles a lot of the games I love to play just perfectly. The life is strange trilogy, TWD games, I've even played arc raiders on it and I was able to hit 60fps with some optimizations. Also use it as my 2nd pc for my DMA setup and it works perfectly for that use case as well.

This thing is awesome. I'm playing Hitman WOA on Steam and its quite clean and the screen is beautiful. I havent run any bench marks yet, but its running smoothly. ChatGPT says Cyberpunk 2077 will run well with some reasonable attention to settings as well. I love this thing!

This is the current top of the line handheld in terms of specs. It performs quite well, runs the latest AAA games at acceptable FPS, and (even at full power) is relatively quiet. Graphics look good, the battery life will keep you going for 2 hours or more on the balanced setting and the 1tb SSD is speedy and a good start for storage. But even with all that said…I didn’t keep it. I just couldn’t bring myself to pay $1k for this device. For all the positives of its performance it can be outclassed by laptops hundreds of dollars cheaper. It’s also more expensive than the most expensive console. I know those aren’t the same kinds of products but I include them for perspective. So, the question you have to ask yourself is how much you’re willing to pay for the convenience of handheld gaming. Because to do so on this machine you’ll be paying a premium and (at present) a price further inflated by the tariff situation.

for an every day gamer, its awesome. there's a lot of videos and opinions about graphics and playability but ultimately its plays FF7 rebirth on low to mid just fine, it does stutter a little but it plays. it plays warzone, little slow on the rendering but it loads before the main part of the match, but it plays. definitely get a micro sd for extra storage and pay attention to transfer speed if you want to play off it. a little heavy but you don't notice if you in the zone. battery last awhile for mid gaming and by the time its low or dead, got do something else while its charging.

All is good, but seems that is a common thing nowadays that at launch, everything needs to be fixed.. This console is or was no exception, MSi software and quick settings too unpredictable on their behavior, not all games worked at right from start, for sure have been a lot of updates and the console is more stable now. Screen size and quality is very welcomed specially for us glasses wearers. the 7" on the Rog Ally X vs this is night and day. (for me). Controls are also of great quality and feel. Correct weight and size for adult hands. Maybe not for the youngsters. If you like to tinker with the all-mighty Windows, well, this is your playground. And to my surprise, the battery life is really good. I don't get that urging feeling that it will run out of battery while playing. But I still keep that bittersweet after taste flavor when I paid almost $1,000.00, (price before increase) knowing that there are other consoles with similar capabilities and lower price. I am keeping this console for a while, need to justify the expense, this is not your cheap toy muchachos!

I absolutely LOVE this device! Best purchase I've made in a long time! The fact that it runs Windows 11 means you can buy a case, buy a wireless mouse, and then a foldable keyboard, as well as a small hundred watt charger and boom, you've got yourself the tiniest little portable computer/gaming rig money can buy! When this thing came out it was an absolute train wreck that really hurt MSI's presence in the mobile handheld gaming community, but they worked overtime to fix things and make it right by their customers, and so now this thing runs like butter! Obviously it's not perfect and being the first and oldest model they have means it's going to be a little limited as far as what it can do but that's why you have AI and frame generation! Since it's an Intel chipset it uses XeSS technology and The category of supported games has grown tenfold in the last few years So if you're looking to get into the handheld gaming PC but you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, you really can't beat this one! One thing I don't like about it is the battery life isn't the best per se, but it's serviceable and the hall effect joysticks just feel kind of loose. It's not a defective product, it's just how they are made so that took quite a bit of getting used to. Thankfully it has a gyroscope function so I sort of learned how to use the joystick to aim in the general area of an enemy and then slightly tilt the console a little to get the fine tuning just right to get the headshot I needed! Now I kind of wish I could do that with all games! Lol Most of the time I'm playing this console is at home so it can stay plugged in No issue, but if the controller is that much of a problem you can always prop it up with a stand of some sort, And then connect your Xbox controller or whatever and it will work just fine. Or you can take it a step further and buy a doc for it, plug the HDMI cable into the dock, and now you're gaming on your console while using your full size TV as your screen! If there are any games that are too powerful for this machine you can also run them on your PC via Steam and Open up Steam on here and literally stream the game from your PC to this console so that way the PC is doing all the heavy lifting and the device stays nice and cool because it's just displaying the game instead of actually running it!

Tenía duda sobre invertir mucho dinero en esta consola, pero puedo decir ahora con toda certeza y seguridad que esta consola no solo cumple, supera mis expectativas y sobre todo vale cada centavo. Esta versión de MSI con chip Intel es totalmente distinta a todo lo que he comprado, Rog Ally, Steamdeck y Legión Go, corre la mayoría de juegos AAA arriba de los 30 - 40 FPS en calidad media y con una resolución 1920x1200, lo cual es un extasis visual y para los más exigentes (como yo) cumple muchísimo con este tema de calidad gráfica en relación con rendimiento. Por ultimo los materiales de construcción son excepcionales, se siente robustez y calidad, por lo cual se siente un equipo de gama alta y lo que son gatillos y joystick es de lo mejor en handhelds. Sin duda MSI me ha comprado como usuario y si vuelve a sacar una consola que compita o supere al mercado me tendrá como cliente asegurado.

Good portable gaming. The display is good and clear with bright colours. The refresh rate has coped with my motor racing games. I have watched an action movie on it and the speakers were adequate, but headphones give much better audio. The processor is fast, apps load quickly and can run several in the background while gaming.

Not for everyone

Pro: affordable, can run most games. Decent speakers. Against: BIOS & Windows updates brick your controllers. You have to jump through hoops to get them running again and then they get bricked again. Still rating this high as this would be an issue across most Windows handhelds.
