I’ve tried a couple of other natural deodorants over the years and I haven’t been impressed. This one has been my favorite by far. It’s gentle on my skin, and I haven’t experienced any irritation at all. I’ve only been using this for the past week, but so far so good. It’s lightweight, rolls on easily, dries quickly, and doesn’t leave behind a sticky feeling or white marks on my clothes. The scent is fresh, clean, and subtle. It’s just enough to keep me feeling refreshed without being overpowering. It keeps me feeling fresh all day, even after a workout. One thing I really love is that it’s more than just a deodorant…it also helps care for the skin under my arms. It fights odor while leaving my underarms feeling soft, smooth, and healthy.

I was super skeptical about this, but I’ve been using it for about a week now, and I am super impressed. I am always leery with natural deodorants because I feel like they don’t typically work, but this one works very well, and I don’t have any complaints. It lasts all day long and goes on smooth and clear. I’ve been wearing tank tops, but I can’t say I’ve seen it rub off on my clothes either. I love that this is a safer + healthier option to mainstream deodorants AND it’s aluminum-free and fragrance free too, which is super nice for those who need a gentle alternative for sensitive skin. Overall, no complaints and it worked great for all day wear with me.

I am not a roll on deodorant person because of the wetness, but decided to give this one a try. To my surprise, it didn't take long to dry. It held up well throughout the day and I'm on the move at work all day long! I received no irritation, not sure about the skin lightning part, but maybe with prolonged use. I'm not a fan of the scent, thank goodness this scent is light so it wasn't too bothersome.

TLDR; Works great as a deodorant not an antiperspirant, but ability to withstand sweating varies depending on scent. Woody musk & aqua fragrance have performed better with a lot of sweating for me than white jasmine and no fragrance. --- For background about myself, I take medication that causes me to be excessively sweaty (if you take SSRIs you may relate). Like I drip buckets and sweat like no other. You cannot possibly imagine the amount of water I consume to stay hydrated. However, I don't like antiperspirants and most do not work for me. Therefore, I am only judging these deodorants on their efficacy as a deodorant and how well they withstand sweating. I have used all kinds of deodorants on the market. Lume, carpe, secret, dove, arm & hammer, old spice, saltair, megababe, native, schmidt, degree, mitchum, just to name a few. If it exists, I've probably tried it. Most antiperspirants containing aluminum and deodorants with a base of baking soda have not worked for me. They either aren't effective at removing my body odor and/or they do not last long enough and I have to reapply. Because I am super extra unimaginably sweaty, reapplying is a whole process of wiping dry and cleaning the surface before reapplying. It's really annoying and inconvenient, especially because I live in Texas. Because of this, my preference in deodorant is acid-based deodorants! Although I am still super sweaty, I find that acid-based deodorants best neutralize my body odor for an entire day, even if I spend the day outside sweating basically non-stop. In my experience, glycolic acid doesn't mesh well with my body chemistry, by mandelic acid works great, ymmv. My previous deodorant I loved is the Saltair Serum deodorant, but it's more expensive and has been more difficult for me to find because it's only at select Target stores. The convenience of the Chemist At Play Mandelic Acid deodorant has made it my all time fave and is currently a staple. I've been consistently using this brand of deodorant for over 7 months and I have tried 4 scents: no fragrance, aqua fragrance, woody musk fragrance, and white jasmine fragrance. My absolute favorite is Woody Musk and I've repurchased it. I like the smell and it effectively deodorizes me for the length of a day. I usually do not need to reapply. A 5/5 from me all day every day. My second favorite is the Aqua fragrance. It's not my favorite scent (not that it smells bad, just not my preference, it's a really masculine scent) but it still works great. It keeps any body odor at bay and usually doesn't require reapplication. As a deodorant, I still give this one a 5/5 objectively, but my personal opinion for the fragrance bumps it to a 4/5, personally. I'd still suggest anybody considering to try to themselves. I did finish the bottle myself. The final two, White Jasmine and No Fragrance are iffy for me. White Jasmine smells really good and feminine but I've found it to not last as long as woody musk or aqua fragrance. This requires reapplication and smell checks if I'm sweating a lot. No fragrance is truly no fragrance unlike other "no fragrance" deodorants. However, I have the same issue where I find it doesn't last quite as long either. I still use both if I'm not expecting to sweat much but they're more or less just backups I plan to use til empty and not repurchase. I'd give these 2 specifically a 3.5/5 stars. I think I'd only suggest these if you don't sweat too much.

I've really enjoyed adding this 5% AHA underarm treatment to my routine. The combination of lactic and mandelic acid gently exfoliates without irritating my sensitive skin, and I've noticed my underarms feel smoother and look more even over time. It also does a great job helping control odor between washes while the light aqua fragrance keeps things feeling fresh without being overpowering. I appreciate that it's alcohol and aluminum free, making it a gentler alternative to traditional deodorants. It's easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and has become a great addition to my skincare routine.

Updated: After trying a few other scents of this brand, I've grown to like the intense scent Of Royal Oudh the best. I've also had to upgrade from 3 stars to 5 after an impressive holiday week. We spent the past holiday in Virginia with heat index's up to 119° (actual temps around 106°). It was intense humid air. Sweating was mandatory, and I naturally sweat a lot. I only apply deodorant in the evenings after showering. So the days events are relying on the prior nights application. While this deodorant has done well in the past, I had no expectation that it would survive all day sweating in 119° heat index's. To my astonishment I had zero BO over the holiday. I need to stress how impressive this is. I had to change my clothes twice each day from sweating through them so heavily in the intense heat wave. And yet, this deodorant never failed. That in mind, I have been using it daily for months so I know that helps, but impressed I still am. (Below is my original review at three stars) Pros: Does well to reduce/cover odor for up to 24hrs. Wears to a somewhat gender neutral scent (though can lean slightly masculine initially). Gentle on skin (as long as you don't put too much on, and only apply to clean dry skin). Cons: The scent lasts quite awhile and overpowers even cologne (in other words it is not cologne or perfume friendly, it will overpower and win the scent war). The roll on applies too easily making it difficult not to waste the product. The container, while small, isn't filled all the way, making an already small deodorant even less voluminous. If applied to wet or irritated skin, it will create a rash (it must be applied on clean, dry, unaffected skin).

I really wanted to love this underarm roll-on because the scent was amazing and it did seem to help brighten the appearance of my underarms. Unfortunately, it didn't do much to control odor for me throughout the day. To be fair, I'm currently postpartum, so my hormones may be working overtime and affecting how well products perform for me. Everyone's body is different, but I found myself needing additional odor protection much sooner than expected. If your main goal is underarm brightening and you enjoy a great scent, this product may be worth trying. However, if you're looking primarily for strong odor control, it may not be the best fit. For me, the fragrance and brightening benefits were nice, but I probably wouldn't repurchase it for odor protection alone.

I don’t often use roll-on underarm products but have been looking for a good option for a natural products. I like that it is alcohol-free, aluminum-free, paraben-free, silicone-free and dye-free, and unlike some other natural products I have tried under my arms, this one does not irritate my skin or cause me to feel itchy, which I also like. When you apply this roll-on it is wet so you need to allow it a moment to absorb which it seems to do quickly. There is a slight tingle when applying which I assume is because it is acid based (5% AHAs) and is related to the process of lowering the pH and sloughing off of dead skin cells. I feel like it is effective at preventing body odor. The aqua scent is okay but perhaps a little too manly for me…it smells more like something I would purchase for my son and husband. Because it works, I will use it but wouldn’t choose this scent with all the others that are available.

I have tried several underarm roll products but this is the best. Not only does it keep me fresh and odor free all day but I noticed my dark underarms started to lighten from the very first use. Highly recommended!
