Compost Genie 3.6 Gallon Compostable Bags, 40 Count, Sturdy for Food Waste, Compatible with Kitchen Compost Genie Bins, ASTM D6400 Certified

The size is perfect for use on a daily basis for a family. It doesn’t tear like some of the compostable bags that I’ve tried in the past. But you do have to change it out a few times a week depending on the moisture content of your food. Highly recommend

Perfect compliment to my Genie compost bin. These are a perfect fit, and I love the way the roll of bags is easily accessible when it's time to change the bag. It's surprising how quickly my compost bin gets filled. Love that I am not adding more trash to the dump and instead can use these bags to fill with my compostable items. It's a win-win. These are compost friendly, so that means they will start to degrade after a while. My Genie compost bin is emptied weekly, and have had no problems, except for a grape vine that dried in the bin then tore the bag. I now just wrap vines and other items like egg shells in used paper towels to protect the bag. That trick has been working perfectly.

These compostable compost bags save me a ton of time and trips to the compost bin, keeping me very clean as well. So easy to just dispose of the bag and contents directly into my compost bin.

These fit the Compost Genie well but tear and leak very easily. I found that I needed to triple bag and sometimes they would still leak.

This beats my small counter top compost container. The bags are strong and hold up. The bin is easy to keep clean. I find I am composting more than I was previously.

The bags are good, but narrow enough that it can split if your food is wide, even if it's within the size of the opening (like a watermelon rind). They can hold plenty of weight, at least. I love that they are compostable, and other than the split on the seam they seem to do ok. The best bet is to set the larger, heavier stuff in gently, and it will be ok.

I love it remind me of the easy way to used the garbage back with the genie diaper pail

They are disintegrating before I even use them! Don’t waste your money

They are bigger than standard which is a good thing for me. These are well built and it takes a lot to fill them up so I can change them once a week or so. So long as you don’t shove stuff in (or put anything point in) they won’t break. They’re also priced competitively to other compost bags

It is for my new Compost Genie. Fits perfect and holds a lot of kitchen compost. No odor. Came with a lot of bags so don’t have to keep ordering each week, etc Not too sure if the bags are up to recycling rules so I empty bag and put it in with plastics.

Strong n easy to use
