Review: Easy to fit. - I'm one of those weird people that like to make sure my front garden gate is closed, it used to really bother me that 60-70% of the time I would look out of the living room window and the gate was just wide open either left open by the postman/woman, desertcart delivery drivers (that seems to come almost daily now) or my kids, it felt like I was forever having to go out and close the gate. Well no more! Bought this anti-sag gate kit along with a gate spring, fitted them both on the same day, it probably took me maybe 20-30 mins to install both, now my gate no longer sags or drags on the path, the anti-sag gate kit seem to work great so far, along with the fitted gate spring my front garden gate now closes effortlessly and without issue, was easy to install and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Now I look out of my window and the gate is closed 100% of the time, it makes me feel all warm inside. Just a heads-up, the wire is pretty long so if you are installing this anti-sag gate kit on a smaller front garden fence you may find that you have a lot of excess wire, I only had the plier style wire cutters but they just couldn't cut through so had to invest in bolt cutters to trim the wire down.

**Q: Could it work on a 3.8m five-bar gate?**
A: I would say they aren’t strong enough

**Q: Will this take the twist out of a gate ?**
A: I used it to correct sagging summerhouse doors. It did the job well and, once they were square I fitted a support brace from the outer frame inwards to the hinge side. They haven’t moved since. I don’t know if they will correct a twisted gate or door but for pulling them square it’s just the job.

**Q: What is the cable length in this pack?**
A: 2.44m

**Q: Will this help if the gate post is sagging?**
A: It's more for sagging gates or shed doors. Not sure about gate posts. You can get different types for sagging posts.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works but may need adapting.

This device raised my drooping caravan decking gate quite easily and further adjustment is possible. The downsides are you may need to adapt the brackets and drill a hole in the bottom one. See my photos. I also needed a grinder to cut the excess cable as it is very strong. The system also pulls the bottom corner inwards a bit, but that may be due to the design of my gate. All in all though I'm delighted with the finished result and I recommend it if you have a similar problem.
