Better than wedges used in hospitals.
While my mother was in the hospital, the nurses used pillows or very firm wedges to roll her from side to side to prevent bedsores. Neither was comfortable for my mother for any length of time. Looking through Amazon, I found this wedge. I liked that it was memory foam. I am able to position it when then bed is flat, then adjust the bed to her comfort. The wedge gives to the bend of the bed while still giving her the lift she needs to prevent sores. Her PTs and OTs were very impressed by the quality and the positive results. Made me feel like I made the right decision with this purchase. For a while I thought about donating to a rehab/hospice/hospital, but think I keep it for my use in the future, as I feel my back get achier by the day.

Not as great as the bed wedge pillow. Not firm or as big as I thought it would be. It's suffices for an under the knee pillow but does not Elevate you very much.

Relieves acid reflux at night
It is bulky, but if I think acid reflux will be a problem, I leave on the side of bed and can easily use it if a flair up occurs. The only way to get any sleep on a bad night.

Provides relief from back pain
The wedge pillow arrived with a nice zippered cover. It does help to put it under my knees when sleeping on my back. Very comfortable.
