Used this and Ivermectin to finally get rid of cat's ear mites..finally found something that works...
This stuff works great and I used this to clean my poor cat's ears and also bought Ivermectin on Amazon. You might not need to buy Ivermectin too. I bought both this ear cleaner and ivermectin, and this ear cleaner seemed to do a great job on it's own. So, if you have cat's ear mites, try this first because it's not crazy strong and just a good ear cleaner. My cat had a bad ear mite problem so I bought both Ivermectin and this ear cleaner worked within one day at killing and cleaning out most of her ears that were filled with brown, waxy ear mite debris and gunk. Be really careful when using Ivermection*** (separate product)***I used about three drops of ivermectin mixed with jojoba oil and dropped in in my kitty's ears to kill her ear mites. The mites also will crawl on cat's faces and on the chin and look like coffee grinds (that's mite poop, nice, I know) and so run with a cotton ball a little of the jojoba oil/Ivermectin mix on their chin too if you see dirty, coffee grind looking stuff on their chin. This caused a huge flare up in the mites that were living under her chin skin, but it seems to be killing them all and I use a warm wash cloth to loosen the nasty, bloody crust that came up and revealed pink skin underneath her chin. The Zymox cortisone seems to help soothe the pink, new skin too and is like a silicone texture that doesn't sting. BE REALLY CAREFUL WHEN USING THE IVERMECTIN IF YOU BUY IT FOR EAR MITES AND READ ALL THE REVIEWS SO YOU DON'T USE TOO MUCH AND POISONS/KILL YOUR CAT. THAT IS FOR A SEPARATE PRODUCT** IVERMECTIN*** BUT THIS EAR CLEANER IS NATURAL AND PEOPLE BUY IT TO HELP KILL CAT EAR MITES. IT SEEMS TO WORK WELL KILLING EAR MITES AND GETTING RID OF A BAD EAR MITE PROBLEM, YOU MIGHT NOT NEED IVERMECTIN IF YOU BUY THIS SOLUTION FIRST AND TRY IT My cat's had them off and on for 10 years and they are a hassle to get rid of. My cat goes in and outside so she picked it up from outside cats.

Effective and Gentle Ear Cleanser!
I’ve been using Zymox Ear Cleanser With Bio-Active Enzymes for my dog, and it’s been a game-changer for his ear hygiene. This cleanser is so easy to use and very effective at keeping his ears clean and free from debris and wax buildup. I love that it contains bio-active enzymes, which help maintain a healthy balance in the ear without harsh chemicals. It’s super gentle, so my dog doesn’t seem to mind when I use it, and it doesn’t irritate his ears like other products have in the past. It’s great for routine cleaning, and I’ve noticed that it helps prevent any bad smells or signs of discomfort between vet visits. If your pet is prone to ear issues, this is a must-have for keeping their ears clean and healthy. I highly recommend Zymox for its quality ingredients and effectiveness!

This has worked so well for us.
In January 2018, we adopted a senior kitty with a severe waxy ear problem and a cauliflower ear from an infection that was the result of her constant scratching. The itchiness and discomfort in her ears caused her to constantly drool, so her little chin was rough and raw from being constantly wet with saliva. Poor kitty! For a month or so, I used the ear cleaning solution from the pet store, but I wanted to find something better. That's when I found the Zymox line of products here on Amazon. I used the Zymox Otic 1.0 treatment for the recommended 14 days, then switched to the Zymox ear cleanser for weekly cleanings. You cannot imagine the amount of black gunk that came out of her ear every week. It is now six months since I started treating her ears with Zymox and I'm happy to report that we are seeing such an improvement in her condition. Her ears still get dirty, but not as much as before. She no longer cries when I'm cleaning them and she has stopped the constant rubbing and scratching and head shaking. She no longer salivates constantly and her chin has healed up considerably, with the help of some soothing kitty skin cream. Yesterday I cleaned her ears after three weeks of not doing it. Oops! I normally do it on a weekly basis, but what can I say, life happens sometimes. Anyway, I was expecting so much gunk to come out of her ear, but it wasn't so bad! After three weeks, they were as waxy as they normally are with weekly cleanings. This is not to say that I intend to go that long without cleaning her ears from now on; I really think that faithfully sticking to the weekly cleaning schedule is what got us here, so we will continue with our weekly cleanings. I'm sure she will always need help keeping her ears clean, but I feel we now have the situation under control. I'm just so thrilled to see her happier and more comfortable and with a better quality of life. This product has really been a blessing; I highly recommend it.

Solid item in the struggle against pet ear gunk.
This has landed for me in the ranks of things that work pretty well on most of my pets, but unfortunately still leaves me with no completely suitable ear cleaning solution for one of my cats. Let me clarify. I have no issues with this formula; it works well, loosens dirt in the ear canal, and doesn't seem to cause any irritation. In all of my animals, except one. I have tried every possible ear cleaner for one of my cats, and every single one, no matter how safe/organic/scent free/few ingredients/etc, has caused him to get irritated, teary eyes and to paw at his head. At this point, I think I have to just call the game and go back to using a little pad dampened slightly to clean the outside of his ear canal, and hope for the best. It's no reflection on this product at all.. it's effective enough to stay with the other bottles I've tried in my futile attempt to find one that works for my oldest cat. The dogs and the other cat all tolerate it just fine, so it'll be used up, absolutely. Just be aware that if your cat is like mine.. you might have to keep trying. Or give up. Like I did. ;)

Sadly couldn't try the product as it had leaked out in the parcel.

Pretty good remedy. My Shih-Tsu gets itchy ears regularly due to a combo of wax and whatever sticks to the wax (she likes rummaging in the bushes). Stops her shaking her head after about 2 applications. Obviously one needs to check with a vet to see if it’s something more serious, but anything for more common and usual issues like wax...this product is as good as what I would pay 3 times more at the vet. I will Order again.

Perfect for my dog who often gets ear infections! He hates ear drops so we use this product on a cotton ball to clean his ears and he doesn't mind it. The product seems to work great as lots of brown stuff ends up on the cotton ball. Great for dogs with ear infections and prone to getting dirty!

Have used for my dog's ear. Had tried many products and prescribed meds that did not work. A week of this product and the bad smell and infection are gone. Very easy to use. Now I use it once a month or less for precaution. Recommend it for sure.

Good product and smells ok as well. Took a long time to come in that’s why I gave 4 stars.
