Is the quilting stitched?

No it isn't stitched, they angled the light when taking the photo to make it look more dimensional than it is. (pretty flat). I ordered it to use as a warm cover but not too warm. I use throw pillows and a runner across the bottom, not much of the bedspread left to see when I am done.
