(Lots of links but they're all old and don't point to anything now.)I can't therefore say if this arbitrary product substitution is of equal quality or not.The item itself is almost identical in appearance.It has two concentric grooves arouind the handle, one above and one below the hanging cord.The flaring of the trumpet shape at the tamping end starts about 3/4qtrs of an inch lower down so you have more handle and less trumpet if that makes sense. (Whereas the flaring on the Amazon product image starts roughly 2/3rds down the item, on the one I received it starts about 4/5ths down.)As a tool it's not going to receive rough handling so I'm sure it will do a perfectly good job of tamping, but it irritates me that yet another seller is advertising one size/brand but suppllies something different.* I'd previously typed 'manufactured by'Update (11/07/14 22:00)The seller has contacted me and assures me that the item I received is a genuine Joseph Bentley product, or at least, from one of the other retired brands owned by the parent company of Joseph Bentley (Solus Garden and Leisure Limited).He told me that he's perfectly happy for me to return the item but I shall keep it as it will do the job regardless of how it's branded.I still cannot find any reference on the web or products currently on sale from the brand 'Classic by Senator' and the bar code from the label: 5016227913387 only produces one hit on Google for a different looking product.If you search for 'Classic by Senator' on Google the top two hits are expired listings on Amazon and Ebay for two other products but they give you an idea of the design style which is as I've said, practically identical to the Joseph Bentley style.
