UPDATE: Exactly 1 year later: product was stored safely and securely. Always kept upright. Plugged it in for the summer season, doesn't work. It turns on just fine, but does not collect moisture from the air. I really liked this product, but only lasting 1 year for $190, is not cost effective! Very disappointed. New purchase review 6/7/24: We have a 2 story house, 2300sq ft. It was always cooler downstairs, while upstairs stayed very warm all summer. Overall, the humidity in the house made it seem very tight, even though it was cool, 73°. I took a chance and bought this dehumidifier. We have been running it, only during the day for the last 2 weeks. BEST purchase I ever made! The downstairs is no longer "tight" and upstairs has become so comfortable. This little unit is very powerful. I definitely would recommend.

Garbage. Has hardly been used and does nothing but ice up. It’s supposed to automatically defrost but apparently that sensor doesn’t work. The sensor for a full tank failed almost immediately. I can’t run it for more than 20 minutes and it’s icing up. Room temp is warm, filter is perfectly clean etc. Everything checks out like new because it is almost new! Very little use and it’s already quit working. Junk from China but everything is from China now. Can’t afford a replacement either. These things aren’t that cheap.

I have a damp basement/garage that I had 2 smaller dehumidifiers running in that would fill up in about 2 days or so, and didn't do much as far as making the air feel dryer. I picked this one up and wow it filled up quick. I dumped it 3 times in 1 day. I ended up putting it above my sink with the hose running down to the drain, and I got the humidity from near 90 to mid 50s. Definitely happy with it. Unsure of longevity as I've had it only for about a month and a half, but it's been set to continuous dehumidifing for most of it and it's worked great. Also, my electric bill increased by much less than I thought it would. Would recommend.

works perfectly removes water like a sponge . quiet fore dehumidifier .not to big or too little its just right.can move around easily and looks good to i highly recommend

Useless product. It worked fine for few months and started freezing up. Now it run but not effective and humidity level keeps raising in the basement. Can’t find any support link for the company. I am with in one year of the purchase, so think product is under warranty period. Anyone knows how to process replacement?

Ready to use when arrive, however I did allowcit to sit for 24 hrs before turning on. Arrived well packaged and protected. Our villa was suffering with 77% humidity, clothes were damp and 3 drawers in our end tables were swollen shut. In 4 days the dehumidifier removed 7.5 gallons of water! Our villa is about 2000 square ft so this equipment seems to be just right. Easy to empty, we pour into bathtub or shower. Easy to roll on our wooden floors. However, it is more difficult to roll on carpeted surface. We remove between 3-4 gallons of water each day. This summer we have had a lot of rain and remnants of Debbie is coming our way. Surprised there is no registration of the dehumidifier. Has a 1 yr warranty from date of purchase so did not purchase extra insurance.

It is labeled as "4500 sq ft" but when it comes to dehumidifiers you should ALWAYS get one listed as 15% bigger than you think you'll need because they ALWAYS lie about how big it is. Must be an all-male marketing team LOL. Seriously though, it won't quite do 4500 sq ft. More like 3800 sq ft is probably the maximum for this unit in "real world" operation, and maybe 4000 sq ft if there are NO WALLS or other obstacles in the space to block the airflow. Aside from that, it does the job. It's pretty quiet. You can use it as-is and just empty the bucket manually every couple of hours. Or you can attach a garden hose to the nozzle, run the hose to a drain (or into your lawn) and it will drain through the hose automatically. Lets you set the desired humidity level, too. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS first, one of the settings is "always on" and the rest are intermittent triggered by the internal humidity meter. If you're going to use a drain hose, make sure that the nozzle on the dehumidifier unit is the HIGHEST POINT in the entire system. That means you'll want to set this thing up on a shelf or something, raised ABOVE the hose. Why? Because gravity is real and water only flows DOWN. Google "water head pressure" to learn more. That is also how water towers work in cities that have them. Remember folks, humidity is measured in RELATIVE HUMIDITY. Which means it's a percentage of the air's total capacity to hold moisture, not a direct percentage of the air that is water. At 100%, it's either raining or snowing because no more moisture can be absorbed into the air. And the humidity you want will depend entirely on the temperature that day. I've uploaded a handy graph showing where the comfortable humidity range is, and where mold will start to grow, depending on the temperature. Feel free to use that to set your preferred humidity level on your dehumidifier, for basements just stay below the GREEN line and for the rest of your house stay between the orange and blue lines (but closer to the orange one).

I have had very good luck with my two Ogacfo Dehumidifiers (Model FDD25-529OZV1RS) - 4,500 sq ft dehumidifier for basement. I bought my first one in July of 2024. I immediately noticed a difference in my basement. The smell was gone. The air felt great. Mold buildup ceased to be a problem. And, I was pulling out nearly 5L of water/day. So, I recently purchased a second one and it is working just as well as the first. There is no assembly required. I just plugged it in and let it run. It is extremely quiet and does the job all year round. My peak usage period is from April to October when the humidity levels are at their highest. I unplug it in the winter months when the humidity levels cease to be problematic here in the Brandywine Valley of Pennsylvania.
