Beautifully packaged in La Vie style glass bottle. I love the distinct smell of freshly cut Roses and the longevity of its scent. It is not the cheapest of Lancôme’s scents but given its long lasting distinctive smell it’s best used sparingly. Too much and it could be described as overpowering and sickly particularly in enclosed spaces. Pricing, expensive but I think it’s worth it. Put it on your wish list for those days when you want to be noticed because you will be. It attracts many a positive response from complete strangers, the majority of which are men, though women as well have stopped me in the street, the supermarket and a variety of locations to ask me, positively what perfume I am wearing. That says to me that it is special and I feel special wearing it.

Having purchased Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle Vanille and loved it, I thought I’d try this La Vie Est Belle Rose Extraordinaire eau de parfum. Well, it’s a gorgeous bottle, the perfume is a deep pink and the fragrance is a rose floral with a velvety vanilla that’s fresh and perfect for spring and summer. It does remind me quite a bit of an M&S Rosie perfume that’s no longer made, it was very similar to this. I bought a smaller 50 ml bottle of this perfume, but I’d be happy to buy a bigger bottle next time, it’s a quality French made perfume that has a delightfully feminine floral fragrance I’m happy to recommend to you too.

Lovely scent at great value

I bought this product blindly without trying it first. I was looking for a replacement for Paul Smith Rose as I absolutely loved that perfume, this is not it. I can hardly smell any rose, it's very subtle. It is a nice perfume but for me it lacks that special something that I'm looking for. It's an expensive mistake, I will wear it for daily use but it's really not what I was hoping for. Longevity is not bad.
