Works with older wiring
These are perfect for powering usb-c security cameras with older camera wiring just make sure your using the right voltage power supply 5 vs 12 volt

Works great. Just make sure you match voltage...I fried my Ip camera using its 12v plug when I shoulda put a 5V plug on the other end! Duh me

In the pic the adapter I purchased is the longer one on the right. The other is what came with the iFi Silent Power unit, but since USB-C devices are more common now, and I have more of them than iFi units, I can leave these plugged in to those devices when I rotate use of the iFi’s. I was going to take one star off for my consent to pay for them at the asking price, but no one forced me - it’s not the product’s fault. These do what I wanted them to do.

Doesn't Work With Arlo Cameras
These adapters did not work with my Arlo Essential Indoor Tilt Gen 3 cameras. AI said it does not support this camera system. Wish I had known that before I bought them.
