Excellent, affordable price
100 Miles Later, Thoughts– I feel healthier, I look better, I've burned off some of my too-much-screentime pudge, I have finally grown a fat butt (in the good way). I started real slow, short bursts, going only until I started huffing/puffing. First time: level 1, 8 mph, made it 0.3 miles. [Yeah, I know, don't shame me.] I have physical disabilities: I cannot bike, run, swim, jump. This is the only repetitive-motion workout (machine) that does not cause me harm. Careful never to push myself: because if I got hurt using it, I know I would stop using it, for months. Slowly stepped myself up to faster/longer. By one month: level 1, 12 mph, nearly a mile. Now: level 2, 15 mph, 2 miles. [Hey, for someone who has been derelict for 12+ years... Don't judge me.] I use it at least twice a week, before I take a shower, having made it part of my routine. [Or if I am passing by and want to power through a quick mile, if I'm feeling like a fatty.] This elliptical has a shorter ‘gait’ than others, looks a little odd. Consider: power walking looks silly, yet it works well, which is why people do it: same concept. Shift your weight slightly and use completely different muscles. If getting tired: twist instead at your knees, thighs, hips, waist, shoulders: work more of yourself, differently. Push/pull with your arms instead to relieve some pressure from the legs. An all-around decent workout. I did not need the Bluetooth-enabled display. I care only about how far I get at what speed, and don't need my phone judging me. [Or any insurance companies buying/selling my exercise progress.] Should you care about such things, or if you require an external source judging you: spend the extra money to track your progress. The motion is smooth, but occasionally the back-end starts getting a little ‘grindy’ in tone, but that usually passes. I thought I was going to have to grease the gears, so to speak, when it started sounding worse for a few sessions, but that went away of a sudden one day and hasn't returned. The right handle clicks a bit if I grip the top-half, but again only intermittently. [A crack inside the handle, mayhap? Squeeze it just wrong and it can be heard.] Overall, this elliptical is not silent, but also not loud. Starting out from stagnancy is difficult/discouraging, but worth it, if you keep it up. Make it a part of your routine, do not push yourself too hard, and do not deviate (more than one skip-day here and not-often there). Run yourself a little less hard/long if you don't feel up to it, but do not quit. Quitters only grow fatter assess (in the bad way). For your health: here is a good, affordable, reliable choice.

It’s Worth The Money, I only have ONE con.
This machine is decent for the price. It isn’t PERFECT, but it’s decent. I’ve only had it for two days and have used it both days. I had the Amazon people assemble it. They were nice and professional. My ONLY complaint about this machine is the fact that every time I use it (which is generally 30-45 minutes at a time. 3 of the screws in one area get loose (mid workout) which causes it to move a little, and eventually make a squeaking sound if you don’t tighten them up. You can continue on with your workout without tightening them, but I want them right. It takes about 4 seconds to tighten them, so it’s not like you TOTALLY interrupt your workout, but it is a little annoying. I say a “little” annoying because this was only $150 so for that price, you really can’t complain TOO much. The squeaking sound isn’t loud, you can’t hear it through your headphones, but you kinda know it’s squeaking because as I said, the machine moves differently also. Other than that, the machine is VERY quiet. You wont disturb anyone, family, neighbors, etc. I live in an apartment and I’m on the top floor, so I definitely needed a quiet machine. I’ve included a video so you can hear the machine. The machine is easy to move around, and it’s battery operated, so there are no cords. This machine gives you a great workout even on the first resistance level. You will be dripping in sweat, and there are 7 other levels, so you can really grow into doing more with this machine. You can also pedal in the reverse motion if that’s your thing. If I can find away to stop the screws from becoming lose. I would give this machine a full 4 stars.

Smooth, Quiet, and Easy to Set Up — Perfect for Staying Active at Home
I purchased this elliptical while I was pregnant because I wanted a low-impact way to keep myself moving, and I still use it regularly. The overall quality really impressed me right out of the box—it feels sturdy, well built, and stable during use. I especially appreciate how smooth and quiet it is, which makes it easy to fit workouts in without disturbing anyone else in the house. Assembly was much easier than I expected. I’m not someone who enjoys putting things together, but the instructions were clear and straightforward, and the partially pre-assembled frame made the process manageable to do on my own. It felt well thought out from a setup perspective. The resistance levels offer a nice range, and the motion feels gentle on the joints while still giving a good full-body workout. I like having the digital monitor to track my time and distance, and the built-in device holder is a nice convenience for following along with workouts or just staying entertained. Overall, this elliptical has been a great addition to my home setup. It’s quiet, functional, easy to assemble, and feels like a solid value for the price. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, low-impact option for at-home exercise.

Helped get my pre-covid body back and me out of my depression
For the price and the small footprint alone this machine is worth it. The psychical and mental benefits it’s brought me have been nothing short of amazing. Like so many people, I’ve packed on the pounds during this pandemic not to mention a deterioration in my mental well being. I bought this machine three weeks ago and have used it every morning for an hour before work and sometimes an hour after work. In three weeks I’ve shed 10lbs and my depression has noticeably improved. It is sturdy, well made, and without the operational noises other reviewers have mentioned. It was easy to assemble (by myself) and takes up less room than I expected. If I have to give it one criticism it would be the smaller stride length than that of other ellipticals I’ve tried. It’s about a foot and a half and I’m 5’7” but it doesn’t seem to affect the fluidity of the movement or put undue strain on my legs or joints. I don’t use the moveable handles when I exercise on an elliptical but rather stand upright and pump my arms as if I’m jogging and I usually have on weighted gloves. Not only does the movement feel more smooth and fluid for me but I’m engaging my core the entire time. All in all I would highly recommend this elliptical for those looking for a compact and sturdy piece of exercise equipment that won’t break the bank. Cheers.

One week in and will get straight to the point... Is it worth purchasing? Yes and no. Why no? I can't tell you the amount of times I had to tighten the nuts and bolts. I can't get a 30 minute workout with something squeaking and when I check, a nut got lose from the back and forth movement of the legs. Also, i'm 5'3, 150lbs and it benefits me, but not for anyone taller. Also, if you're heavier than 200lbs, this is not the one to buy. Why yes? Its compact, smaller than the other ellipticals on the market and the resistance is more than fair. It took an hour to assemble and I advise having your own tools rather than the ones they provide, but it was an easy assemble. All in all, without the nuts getting lose, I feel like I'm lighter within a week already.

I've never regretted a purchase more
This device has exactly 0 pros: Size - It's pretty compact. That's a pro, right? Well... Kinda. The thing is, exercise bikes with this footprint are easy to come by. And I know why you're here, you prefer ellipticals to exercise bikes. I do too. But I'm telling you, whatever it is you think you like about ellipticals, this machine doesn't offer that (read on in the cons for more on this). Get yourself an exercise bike with the same footprint and you'll be happier. Furthermore, avoid this brand at all costs. Cost - You'd be tempted to think that it's cheap, but cheap items only save you money if they don't fall apart quickly. It's not cheap, it's just a low upfront cost. Its cons are overwhelming though. Jerky - You think of an elliptical as this nice machine that lets you choose which muscles to engage because as long as you keep the average effort over time at a certain level, it'll keep spinning right? Not this one. This one requires continuous engagement or it immediately slows down. Is there even a flywheel in here at all? I'm honestly not sure at this point. This elliptical is about as fun as running, but even though I hate running, running is free. Noisy - Thud thud thud. Why does the whole frame contort every stride? Who knows. Thud thud thud. Also, the mechanism itself isn't quiet, which I didn't notice until I finally replaced it. Fragile - The left foot pad broke during shipping. I tapped it together when putting it back together. The right foot pad broke one time when I stepped on it a little wrong I guess. I tapped that back together. A little more than a year after I bought it, and with infrequent use, given how much I hate this elliptical (probably 20-30 hours of use or less), it's finally done me the favor of starting to fall apart. The nuts on the pedals keep coming off. I'm not sure why, but it was frankly a blessing. I ended up buying an exercise bike with the same footprint, which is smoother and quieter. The exercise bike wasn't cheaper, but the exercise bike doesn't need to last very long before it will be cheaper per hour of use. Not really an elliptical? - So I'm not even sure if this thing is really an elliptical. Ellipticals let you use your arms. This thing doesn't. Like yeah, there are handlebars, but remember that bit about being jerky? The flywheel (or lack of) is so bad on this machine that you cannot maintain the motion purely with your arms. Ellipticals let you back pedal. Not this one. The frame contortions and jerkiness overwhelm any honest attempt to do so. Ellipticals let you just press & lift with your feet almost like a stair climber. Not this one. Again, the jerkiness of motion denies you the ability to actually use this thing like you would expect. I know you like ellipticals, I do too. But this isn't what you want. I'm sorry. I wish it was. Please. Let my pain be enough for you to learn from.

Perfect for a certain someone
Sunny Magnetic Elliptical Trainer was received in good condition. The tools & bolts are smartly packaged & labeled so that they cannot get lost in the box & you know which tool they mean in the directions (for people like me). Altho the trainer was shown only in blue on-line, I received a silver-gray trainer which looks more professional. I paid $134 + $11 tax, no shipping, Amazon. My daughter & I labored over assembly, when her very talented husband showed up & took over. After assembly the trainer was squeaking as many report & my son-in-law opened the plastic housing (as I cringed) that contains the flywheel; this part was already assembled by the factory & the casing was touching the flywheel. After repositioning the case away from the flywheel, the trainer was silent. No bolts fell off, no extra holes were drilled & it is silent during use. We placed it on 2 very very thin mats at the front & back of the trainer; the mats had no cushioning or rubber & the trainer does not wobble. When I dismount I hang onto the handles as I move sideways pulling a bit & I am heavy; the trainer is very steady, it doesn't tip or wobble or squeak. When the tension knob is turned up, the brake, lined with magnets, moves closer to the flywheel, the magnetic drag slows down the wheel making it harder to pedal. It's elliptical because the stride is oval, not round. (Those are the kinds of things I wonder about!) My knees, hips & lower back ache with every step due to osteoarthritis & advanced age. I wondered if I could even use this machine, that's why I wanted a cheap one. It hurts less to use the trainer than walking does. It's incredibly heavy if you live on the 2nd floor. It was on the landing of my staircase when I got home, I had to move it up 4 steps onto the gated porch, OMG! It was soo heavy, I couldn't imagine the deliveryman getting it up the stairs alone. I'm told the stride is short, it's a small home version of an elliptical trainer. It's perfect for the older or disabled or for an athlete who just wants to break a sweat at a nominal cost. I've had it for 2 weeks. I'll do an update in a few months. I'm totally pleased with my first piece of exercise equipment. It operates perfectly when assembled by someone with know-how; however I appreciate that it is designed for DIY & so maybe should be easier to put together?

Does what I need it to do ; and the "squeak" is fixable!
I needed something to do exercise at home and this fit my needs -- even if it was my "second choice" as my first (from a review site elsewhere) was sold out. I did read a lot of reviews on this and similar models. In this case the cost was perfect (sale price at the time), and while it didn,t have the features of another brand I felt I didn't need the water bottle holder or the ability to have a table/phone in front of me. And you know what? I don't miss not having them! Setup was slightly difficult -- but my spouse was the one who put it together. The hardest part was attaching the tensioning cable, and in the end we found we were just overthinking it and then it was easy. In the beginning it was as quiet as advertised. And then, yes you guessed it, the "squeak" started. It did get worse, and I wondered if it was something to do with needing oil on inner moving parts. And then one day the squeak was gone. Husband confessed he had tightened all the connections again because several had worked loose. It did come back after a bit, and we tightened connections again and it went away. I found that as I increased the tension level the amount of time to develop the squeak lessened. (I also found there was less side to side swaying movement in the height of my sessions as I increased up in tension). I'm currently as setting 4, and very happy at that level. I might work up to 5 or I might not. So far I am getting what I need at that level. I do recommend it. The only reason why I am giving a 4 over 5 is the issue of having to re-tighten connections more than I think should be happening. It might be the mere fact that this is not the level of equipment made for a commercial gym and so is less. Or maybe this one is just slightly worse than others. Not sure but it doesn't matter as I am pleased with it.

Great quality and value
I have only had this elliptical for a few days now but it works great. I’m very happy with it, especially for the price. The instructions were a bit confusing but I was able to find a YouTube video which sped up the assembly.
