I had no idea quite what these would be like as regards comfort, quality and fitting . I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. Attractively packed suggesting that the manufacturer was proud of the product. Amazingly simple to fit in seconds. Just as comfortable as the original pads with no discernible reduction in sound quality. No way of knowing how long they will last but they do seem to be a quality product and for the price I am well pleased.

I got these for my AKG K551 headphones, as the pads had deteriorated badly. The Brainwavz XL pleather replacement pads fitted perfectly and have improved the sound especially in the bass, due to a better seal around my ears.They were easy to fit and are very comfortable. I highly recommend them.Finally my K551s sound like they should.

Simply put these are just nice and comfortable.Not the cheapeat option but are more than likely to exceed your old stock pads.Used on a set of over ear AKG 550 headphones, they are thicker, firmer and better fitting.

Great quality, I bought the XL pads faux leather. They fitted onto my Custom One Pros pretty easily.The hot weather has made them slightly uncomfortable. but Not terrible

Purchased for K550 headphones. Very comfortable, but stiffer than the originals which I actually prefer and sound is not compromised. Highly recommend as a replacement for the originals when they crumble apart.

Excellent fit for AKG K550. Bought to replace original pads which after a number of years have become disintegrated. Fit is often talked about as an issue with this headphone however I have found the brainwavz XL pad to be a suitable replacement and they are fitting just as well as the original pads. Sound is not perceptibly different to the original to my ear.Follow up review - After wearing them a bit longer I've found that I'm getting a far better fit with these than the stock pads. It has really helped enhance the bass on this headphone which can be absent when fit is poor. My K550s have never sounded better.

Easy to fit,watch utube first. Comfortable, maybe firmer than original pads, but perhaps old ones soft with age. Appear well made, time will tell.

These are overall very comfortable, but I will have to challenge the "Durable and long lasting" statement from their product description.After a year they have developed some severe cracks in the material, that only gets worse with every use. At this price I expected a bit more, to be honest.I can recommend these if you don't use your headphones a lot, as they are very comfortable, and this way they will probably last you a long time. I also didn't notice any big difference in sound quality with my DT 770 Pros, so that's a plus.

Ho usato la versione in pelle per sostituire i vecchi pad delle mie AKG K712 Pro, ormai consumati dall'uso. (li ho montati semplicemente tirando il lembo oltre il bordo delle cuffie).Sono comodi e non stancano. Il suono cambia leggermente di pad stock, fa sentire un poì di più i bassi e i medio-alti, ma non è un cambiamento drastico.

I have a vintage headphone (AKG 271) which has been through several generations of replacement earpads. My last pair of pads (purchased on eBay) was a real disappointment. While they looked good at first, it turned out that the pad surfaces were glued, not stitched, and after a year of light use the pads blew apart to reveal the chunks of foam inside. Well, these Brainwavz pads are the complete opposite! Carefully made with stitched black pleather, these pads are soft and comfortable, and are big enough to sit around my ears creating a good acoustic seal. The pads don't induce fatigue or sweat buildup, making multi-hour listening a pleasure. It was challenging and frustrating for me to install the pads on my AKG's, which required me to stretch the rear cutouts quite a bit. The job might be easier for other headphone brands. I'm very happy with these Brainwavz earpads and recommend them (check the compatibility lists before ordering).

Super produit, acheter pour remplacer les coussinet d'origine d'un Klim Puma v2018.Le Puma + ces coussinet font un super combo. Ils sont agréable à porter et en version XL ils englobent bien toute l'oreille.Je recommande.

Pretty good replacement pads for the beyerdynamic DT 990 PROs. Installation was easy (just wrap the outer plastic ring around the rim of the headphones). Certainly easier than the stock pads.Comfort is A+. There is more padding and a larger hole diameter for your ears.Sound definitely changes. As others has mentioned, it changes the sound stage almost completely due to the closed/sealing nature. Bass is slightly heavier because of this. Closes out some exterior noise, but not as much as closed-back headphones. There is also a thin pad that separates your ear from the headphone driver, further muffling sound.So if you're looking for an alternative pad that won't absorb sweat/oil and will clean easily, I recommend it.If you're worried about changing how the sound comes out, look elsewhere or look to the other materials (velour, etc.)
